Re: Where to sell knives

I can’t seem to get access to the spydie swap Reddit group anyway. Knife swap is a pain in the *** with their rules. Guess I’m gonna have to go back to eBay. Ugh.

Re: Safety of IWB compression lock at 12:00 while running?

I discovered something interesting today. I have one liner lock knife with an absurdly strong detent that seemed impossible to open with inertia. I managed to drop it off my desk today and the blade popped open. I decided to drop my Atlantic Salt and Ayoob to compare. The Atlantic Salt required a b...

Re: Safety of IWB compression lock at 12:00 while running?

Thanks everyone! I’ll stick to the Delica or native backlocks for IWB and only use the para LW for pocket carry. Works great for pocket since it’s got a deep carry clip. Thanks!

I have carried tip-up knives IWB. It is a mistake I will not repeat.
Can you explain? Please detail your experience. Thanks.

Re: Safety of IWB compression lock at 12:00 while running?

i've run many times with a caribbean iwb with no issues and most people complain about the caribbean having a weak detent. that said, i carry mind at 3 and would never carry a knife iwb at 12. it's funny to think about cutting the jewels and such, but you also have vital organs and arteries right t...

Safety of IWB compression lock at 12:00 while running?

Hello everyone! I regularly run in my neighborhood with a Delica clipped IWB into my running shorts at the 12 o’clock position. As we all know the Delica has a back lock. I’m very familiar with the knife and its carriage based on about 20 years after taking an Insights defensive knife course. Recent...

The moran workes very well for IWB.

1. Remove tec Lock
2. Attach static 550 paracute cord to top hole of kydex.
3. Tie a simple loop.
4. insert belt into loop and tuck knife into pants.

done.

CF delica source?

My Girlfriend wants to buy me a CF delica since she knows I carry delicas all the time (since when they first came out). Anybody have a good source that carries them right now (right handed plain edge).

Thanks guys and gals.

No more rescue Jr...

I got the new small rescue. Its an awesome knife in VG-10 and I think I may have to upgrade all my ats-55 and gin1 knives to VG-10. The endura I got with it in VG-10 plain edge is insanely sharp. I love it. I am glad spyderco reinforced the clip area so it wont tend to strip out like my other ones d...

Many a time LEO's have the incorrect analysis of the law. However their opinion will tell you what the average LEO will do with the average citizen in any given area. I used to instruct LEO's on the law and let me tell you, sometimes they knew the law, sometimes they were very incorrect. In Canada e...

The bigger question that has not been answered is, why did Hermes stay? If he was concerned about the convicts or any other people who were threatening arround, and he was in his car, why did he stay. Why would anybody stick arround to have a potential test of their combatives skills. Your skills we...

In all respects defensively the baton is better than the knife. However, considering the legality and the possible use of either, the knife is better since a 3" bladed delica is legal almost everywhere while a baton is legal almost nowhere. Even if the statutes dont spell out that the baton is ...

Be aware that in most jurisdictions the law enforcement officer will see this as a billy club, sap, or other prohibited offensive weapon even if in the statute it is not directly indicated as such, it is related enough with these implements to be seen as such by LEOS and the DA. Yes I am an attorney...

Dragonfly aus 6 or aus 8

The catalog says aus8 but every knife I have seen says aus 6. Which is it?
