Calypso Jr pocket clip screws.

Anyone know what size the pocket clip screws on a Calypso Jr are?

The heads are stripping out, and I'm curious if there's a specific size I could get from jantz or usaknifemaker?

Thanks in advance.

Benchmade 950 Rift and ergonomics = none. IMHO.

I exagerated for effect, but my point is. The ergos on that knife were atrocious for my hand, mostly the forward choil. The handle right behind the blade. Was way too wide for me personally.

Luckily, I didn't buy it :) . A friend of mine traded for it, and he agreed with me. I like it in other ...

Good job. I really like the blade. I assume it was the DLC coating. I like the way the grind line (above the hollow part) shows up. Also, the tang stamps really stand out. Did it happen like that just from stonewashing or did you do something else. I don't remember seeing a DLC blade stonewashed ...

My Manix 2 mod I spoke of previously. Still a couple things to finish up, but just about done.

It was originally a blacked out Manix 2, Now the blades been stonewashed, and the steel parts acidwashed. Black and green layered linen micarta, unfortunately the green doesn't show as well as I'd like ...

The second image is the original hole sizing. Around 0.095 inches, give or take.

B = Superleaf. E = Calypso Jr in Zdp-189. Most common as of late. Need some more small folders, I just love the 3-3.5 inch blade range....

Why do you prefer tip down carry

Pocket lint... I hate pocket lint in my pivots... Hate the cleaning because of it, hate seeing it there.

As well as that I just like the motion necessary for removal. Feels more natural.

To me it's like asking why do you like the music that you like. Usually it ...

Just a simple suggestion.... Lighting!

Next time have the light to your back so the light can hit the knife.... I didn't even notice the scales until I looked carefully at them again.

My excitement impeded my camera skills, apologies. Hopefully this image fills the gaps.

Screw construction FTW!

I know, I knew it had to be possible. Oddly enough I've hardly seen Caly mods, almost none. (Guess I'm one of the few stupid enough to try :P)

Well, bh49, I decided to run it in this form for a bit. I have ziricote scales on hand currently, and plan on using the liners then, along with drilling for a tenacious pocket clip for tip down carry. As I greatly prefer tip down, but loved the Caly 3.5 even though of that :)

I just wanted to carry ...

Thank you David, I appreciate the compliment. But upon closer inspection I made a handful of mistakes, especially on the micarta. But, I am learning as I go along. No where to go but up.

Yes, definitely some challenges, FCM415. Mainly the lockbar, only 0.015 left on the thinnest part of it... Hole ...

Hi Souta,

Welcome to our forum.

The next Elmax will be coming from Italy.

Thank you, Mr. Glessar.

Interesting, I do hope its used in a sprint run though. I think it'd be a good steel to expand upon. But I'm sure you've already thought of that if it is a good idea. In your greater ...

Elmax steel sprint run on pretty much any Golden made knife?

Preferably a Manix 2 or Military. FFG, maybe... Purple G10? A deep purple-blue?

I think it'd be awesome, and it's a steel that's been rarely used by Spyderco.

So what'cha think boys and girls?

Out of the 6 spydercos I've bought new, everyone of them had slight imperfections.

2 from Golden, 2 from Seki, 1 from Moki, 1 From China.

These aren't CRK's or Hinderers or Southards, ect...

My advice? Unless your looking for a safe queen. Use your endura as if it is a tool, a knife. Don't send ...
