I guess Karma is a b*tch. Seriously though, this is a dramatic example of what NOT to do when you don't know anything about a blade.

Questions on Crystalized Titanium
On one of my random web searches for knives, I bumped into the brand, Boker. They apparently have a few knives with blades made with this substance, Crystalized Titanium. I saw a few picks and it looks like a cool mosaic of blue-ish crystals. Does anybody know anything about Crystalized Titanium? Ho...

Ladybug and Photon Light combo over at NewGraham

This is cool! It's a "forest green" Ladybug with a matching keychain, Photon light with a Spyderco bug logo on it!
I think I'm going to be $35 poorer <img src="tongue.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

Hey Nemo, I think Aragorn should have the ATR. Gandalf would have the Gunting, but he wouldn't need to clip it anywhere since he's a wizard. He probably has some sort of extra-dimesional pocket that he can put stuff in and pull out whenever he needs it. Hmm...I think That the Urak-hai, Orcs, and Gob...

ROT: Lord of the Rings - The Return of the King ~ no spoilers please
I just went to see the movie. It was, again, another LONG movie (nearly 3 hours).
I loved it just like the last two before it. It's been over 10 years since I read the books, but IMHO the movies were just as captivating, condensed down into 3 hour segments.
What say you?

I have a both, a jigged-bone-handled Kiwi and a Stainless Steel Kiwi. I like how easy it is to sharpen wharncliff type blades. The very tip of these blades also apply themselves to great utility when making fine cuts through thin materials. The only draw back that I've found with wharncliff styled b...

Native II in SV30 I love the length, spear point shape, and sharpness of the Native II's blade. Even though I have two grey aluminum handled Salsa's, they've been collecting a lot of dust in my drawer. The compression lock on those knives has a bad tendency to pinch the flesh of the palm of my hand ...

I think the problem is how most people view what the original intent of the item in question is. It's true that you could pretty much use anything to kill a person. Even your bare hands if you must, it's just that there are things which are more efficient at killing than others. But, for example, mo...

It's the innovative designs and quality of Spyderco that keep me hooked. I don't care if a lot people think my knife looks fugly, it'll out cut and out last their cheap, knock-off, $2 flea market, knife. It'll also out perform some of those other over-rated and over-complicated knives. I have a tend...
