Re: Lightest Weight Spydercos...?

Try the Chaparral Lightweight CTS-XHP Gray FRN with a blade length of 2.8", blade thickness of just 0.079" (quite a slicer with FFG) and a weight of 2.1 ounces for just $95.90.

Based on the announcement about the 2020 Discontinued Items in the October 2020 Spyderco Byte the soonest we’ll see the list is tomorrow but it could be a little later: “As we get ready to wind down the year and make plans for 2021, Spyderco is finalizing our 2020 list of discontinued items. We will...

Re: Wharncliffe's

As a little bit of history, "reverse tanto" is a recent, and, in my opinion, completely unnecessary addition to blade-shape terminology. Re: Choosing the Chaparral

Chaparral is very slim, thin blade stock & FFG make it quite a slicer and it’s not too wide in the pocket. The Stepped Titanium Chaparral is a piece of functional art and can still be had at quite a discount since it was discontinued.

There were a couple of Leek folders with S30V/G-10 but that was a while back. Most have slippery stainless stee...

Re: Wharncliffe's

I have a Leek, it is a useful blade shape; but I find the stainless steel handle too slick. And the handle overall too small. Part of the smallness of the steel handle on the Leek is due to how slim it is at just a third of an inch thick! There was one of the better Leek folders with S30V and G-10 ...
