Mine should arrive Monday.
This is my first Spyderco that I bought this year and I am pretty excited about it.
Probably for over 2 years now I have mostly been carrying Rex45 or K390 so I did not want to miss this.
I am glad this did not sell as quick as the initial Rex45 drops.

Re: Manix2 lwt Still Pinned
I am happy they are going to screwed construction on the lightweight.
I still doubt I would ever take mine apart but it is nice to have that option.

Re: Do you value inhouse designs higher than collaboration models?
Of the Spyderco knives I carry most are in house designed.
I am glad that they do models that are by other knife makers but my favorites are the in house ones.

Re: Should military service be required?
I said yes to the poll but I think everyone should serve in some capacity but not necessarily combat training. Not everyone is cut out for that. Also I think anyone who is an elected official should be a veteran. You gain a different perspective on the world when you are forced to live, train, and s...

6970D35B-266A-4F42-8EC6-1867698627FA.jpeg The Manix 2 LW is my most carried Spyderco knife. Everything about it works well for me. I just got the Rex45 one and it is my smoothest one out of the box besides my Maxamet one. I would love to see a back lock version of the LW though. That would be fanta...

The way things were going I thought I was going to miss this and out of the entire drop this is the one I am looking forward to the most.

Re: Anyone Here Like Punk Music?
In middle school I was really into heavy metal then about age 15 I heard Minor Threat, Black Flag, DK’s and Flipper. This was about 1985. There are hundreds of excellent punk rock bands out there and I used to love going to shows. Some of the most fun I have ever had was going to warehouse and house...

There is no best steel, only more expensive and less expensive.
Depending on what you want the steel for is what should guide your purchase.

EF4B3F04-C8B9-49D7-88AF-CC08CA4ECD5A.jpeg I can’t believe this arrived so quickly. The black blade and hardware look nice. Everything is good, centering, action, etc. The Native lightweight is a great knife, if it had the wire clip it would be close to perfect. I completely agree that the Native LW...

Re: Combat Aircraft
Love reading stories on the A-10 Warthog! Seeing some photos of that plane shot to pieces and still getting it's pilot home! And then there's it's Gatling gun!! When in the field during basic and AIT we would always see A-10’s on training missions from White Sands. The burb of the guns was unmistak...

Re: Talking about your traditional knives
The 23 is a pretty large knife and it has a good bit of heft to it.
As usual fit and finish is excellent and the pulls on the blades are just right, about 7.5 for the drop point and a 7 for the spey.
