I prefer smaller blades for EDC, so the Sage 2 would do it for me!

I'm with all of you gentlemen. I'm constantly fiddling with my knives trying to improve the edge. Although they'll shave hair and cut thin ribbons of paper with only a wisp of drag, I'm never satisfied. I also am looking at the Edge Pro.

Totally agree with you JD, One of my favorite EDCs is a hawkbill Tasman Salt. Bought one for my girl friend and she uses it to work in her garden. She's now carrying it as an EDC. And this was a woman who was deathly afraid of knives!

Mine barely moves when I hit the lock release. Doesn't seem to bother me.

I've also experienced nicks but only on the medium stones. They usually disappear by the end of the session.

If tomorrow morning I woke up, in a forest, with just my Meadowlark2 in my pocket, it wouldn't bother me a bit.

I've been carrying a Meadowlark 2 G-10 off and on for about a year. The knife still amazes me how it outperforms its price point. For me, its weight and strength place it in a light to medium duty class.
