Re: Somebody Stole My Maxamet Native

I get packages all the time that are marked delivered on the tracking but don't actually get delivered until the next day. It's dumb and irritating, but it happens.

Re: Manix 2 XL in upgraded steel....

I would be down for an upgraded manix. Brown g10 would be nice, I always like that color.

What I would rather see ol all m2 xl's however, is the removal of the gimping on the liners, they are just not comfortable. I really like the m2 xl (still have two of them after culling most of my knives, if ...

Re: Maxamet Native5 & Manix2 with Grey G-10

Maxamet is great stuff. I prefer it over S110V by a large margin.

Do you prefer maxamet just overall or for more specific uses? I'm intrigued by maxamet, but I will hold out for it in the military. I really like how aggressively s110v slices with a coarse (120 grit) edge finish, is maxamet ...

I could probably get into this one. Not a big fan of the jade but I've never tried m4 before.

Re: Hollow-Grind Manix

I used to have one that I traded. It was better for shallow cuts than the ffg and it had a much more substantial overall feel that I really liked. That heavier blade flipped so perfectly.

Re: KW Excl: Mil CF/Ti R.I.L. S90V = Mid May?!

I'm gonna have to make a bold statement here and say the PM2 is a mere shadow of what the Military is. I too prefer the compression lock but the liner lock does make sense for the purpose of the Military and it's among the best liner locks available. I'm honestly not sure if I would be as happy ...

Re: Thick or Thin Blades: Reasons you prefer either or a mix of both?

I like 'em thin. I don't have a specific threshold for thin, but I can look at a blade and tell if it's thin enough or not. Thick blades are too clunky for me and with a thick blade sometimes means a fatter knife in pocket and more binding on cuts. No thanks on that.

Re: Dyad rip-off by Schrade

Really sucks when you remember Schrade used to make pretty nice knives back in the day.
Schrade is a Chinese company these days, not the Schrade of old.

From what I understand, Schrade went bankrupt and out of business. Taylor Brands LLC came in and bought the name only, and then began ...

The para 2 is design perfection the way it is, theres nothing to change IMO. A military 2 would be cool but not if the original was discontinued.

I think the tenacious is fine the way it is, I would not want to change anything. I would really like to see tenacious and resilience sprint runs with brown g10 and 9cr18 would be a fun upgrade but really I just want some brown scales.

I think the stretch 2 is design perfection as far as ergonomics and usability, much like the para 2. My endura still gets its turn of pocket time, not as much as the stretch i'll admit but nothing else gets the amount of pocket time as my golden spydies anyways.

It depends on what knife I get that determines how much I use it, for example I just got a persian 2 and because its discontinued I use it carefully, the same way I use my sprint run/limited edition knives. If the knife is regular production then after a "warm up" period (usually 4-6 days) I am not ...

Whats the point of faking a $35 knife? At any rate criminals are stupid so its not much of a surprise they would do something like that, its a shame things like this exist.
