Agree, no spring mod needed (unless you have health problems with your hands). Very easy to operate the BBL.
Manix 2 is one of Spyderco's best, if you are OK with the weight of the G10 Model, or go with the Lightweight variant (I always like G10 more).

Re: Which Spyderco for a Reliable and Versatile EDC?
Out of these I would go with the Para 3 G10. IMO it has way better ergos than the Para 2 (it has to be used with the choil of course, otherwise too small). Fast, sturdy, easy to carry, good cutter.
I also recommend the Military 2 (very good ergos also without the choil), carries small and is very ...

Re: Shaman SPY27 nearly protruding tip
Send it back.
It is quite a common problem with the Shaman. I have also experienced it once with an early production S30V model. I owned 4 Shamans and they all had their flaws (tip reaching out with 1 model and all of them had a burr on the D shaped hole in the liner, causing blade play). After ...

Re: Crucarta Shaman-Regular Production When?
Are there any plans for a Crucarta Shaman (regular production) or something equivalent (Micarta and f.e. PD#1 blade due to Sprint Run restrictions)?
Thanks and BR,
Oliver

Blade Swap Para 3 Crucarta / Standard G10
Hi folks,
I may want a Crucarta PM3 and wanted to know, if I could take the Cruwear Blade and put it into my standard G10 (blackened) Hardware?
I do not want to wait for a Sprint Run and think Cruwear is one of the best cutlery steels available, but I would be happier with the G10 hardware.

I prefer stonewash and DLC because of the workhorse type character it gives the blade.

Re: Future of Crucarta-family
I would be in for a burgundy micarta Shaman, DLC, Ti Nitride or stonewash blade, made of something like PD#1 or CPM-M4.
A Crucarta Shaman would also be excellent...But I prefer a stonewash or a black blade over a satin finish.
I do not like the idea of skipping the crucarta Shaman and do it with ...

Re: Future of Crucarta-family
I bet they do a PD#1 Shaman so as to not under-cut their collectors. I wish they'd just say "screw it" and do the Crucarta Shaman again, but I think Sal + Eric have too much integrity to go back on their word.
I really hope so... I wish for that or something similar...Very soon hopefully ...

I hope the FRN color of the sprints is burgundy, as shown in the latest reveal. I want to jumpn in for a burgundy Endela Sprint. If the color is purple as shown with the reference pieces, I am not interested. The burgundy color looks great.

Re: Shaman thoughts
After a long Journey of trying tons of knives, I eventually ended with the Shaman for my grail knife.
It is imo the best folding knife ever produced. The ergonomics are outstanding, the whole knife is very refined, it is ment to be a serious user. Also, it is a beautiful knife. Not too heavy but ...

Re: Are there any Shaman Sprints or Dealer's Exclusives planned?
You got some nice ideas 😁
I hope that the Shaman as model will never be discontinued... It is quite pricy but worth it, I hope that there will be sold enough in future.
Do you know when the new Reveal is going to happen? I hope for regular Shaman Sprint Runs, because then I might be able to pick ...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
Thanks for the information.
It is really a shame. People who voted for no should think a little about how to behave.
For me, as a Spyderco lover, it is really hard to deal with. I wish we in Europe will get better chance to grab sprints/dealer exclusives. But I think that will NOT happen...

Re: Spyderco x Lamnia exclusive - poll
Are there any updates to that topic?
I wish for a Shaman, plain edge, DLC or new generation coating (like the REC exclusive), OD green or FDE G10 scales.
May that wish come true
BR Oliver

Hi together,
thanks for your answers.
I will write a post in the Lamniabthread, maybe something will happen...😉
I hope for more regular production versions, maybe with the new coatings Eric talked about.
