Neat idea!

I have Emersons with the chisel grind and I've never had a single problem. Very easy to sharpen and they can be incredibly sharp.

I have a few tantos from Emerson and like them a lot. They actually do function quite well for regular, everyday cutting tasks. They're great slicers or stabbers.

I have an Ontario RTAK that would fill the bill nicely.

You can never have too many knives, lol! There are some great people here, I miss posting on this forum. I don't come here exclusively for the knives; it's the people I love!

Buy yourself a Glock 19 and you'll never look back; it's midsized, not too small, not too large.

Magazines and spare parts for Glocks are super-plentiful and inexpensive. Glocks are ridiculously reliable, as well. Reasonably accurate.

Personally, I've found the AR-15/M16/M4 series to be the most user-friendly rifles/carbines out of the dozens I've fired over the years.
