Even worse, apparently Alibaba.com is going public and is listed in New York. I just did a quick search on their website (alibaba.com), typed in Spyderco and found nothing trustworthy. A Spyderco Warrior that costs $85 a piece and they're able to supply 100.000 a month.. Maybe it's just my inability...

I started developing my taste for whiskey about 2 years ago when I was 18. My favourite now is by far the Aberlour A'Bunadh (batch 36) and the simple Glenlivet 12 year old single malt that started it all for me :) I've had more and better tasting ones, but there's just something about these 2 that j...

Have been waiting for this thread for ever.. I usually buy my knives at knivesandtools.nl (In The Netherlands), but they really are expensive compared when I would buy them from f.e. eBay, even with import duties I still save a lot. They sell the Spyderco Civilian for €258, which is $355 converted. ...

My most blood-thirsty knife at the moment is my Civilian, cuts me at the most annoying places in my hand, nothing very serious though. The Cricket. It is thin, light, cute, small, and stylish, even in stainless steel, and it is definitely beautiful dressed in either blue or black carbon fiber. The Cricket can do pretty much anything you need an EDC knife to do, and more if it has to. The best daily part about owning a Cricket is t...

Hi everyone :) When I bought my first PM2 (C81GPCMO2), I also bought the standard Manbug and a Dragonfly 2 with the ZDP-189 steel in the standard black FRN handles. So after spending all day with my PM2 and basically neglecting the Manbug and the Dragonfly, I dreamed that my Manbug was a shrunken-do...

Don't have a problem with it at all. I have yet to come across a knife where the jimping is too aggressive for me. That being said I think that (aggressive) jimping is more a necessity rather than being a fail imho. It's better than having none at all or having non-functional jimping :D
