Re: Anyone Play Sniper Elite 4?

I haven't had time for any games in a couple decades. Reading this thread makes me wonder what the latest will be once I have time again (probably 6 or 7 years from now, once my kids are out of the house).

I was really into some games in my teens and early 20's. But life happens.

Re: What "others" are in the mail?

Thanks Rick. I just ordered the smaller one. My slip joint requirements are all 3" or less, because I use them for travel to less knife-friendly places than where I live.

Re: 3d printing Manix ball bearing cages

There was a member here who printed some a while back. I think he was reluctant to post the files, because he wasn't sure how Spyderco would feel about that.

Re: What "others" are in the mail?

Speaking of others, I've got this beauty on the way. Been eyeing it for a couple years but couldn't justify the price. $50 cheaper now, easy yes!! :) Definitely not my typical style, I just think it's such a great mixture of a classic traditional design but with modern materials. https://www.knifec...

I really just make them for myself and then reluctantly sell them if I need money to make the next one. :p
Any time you feel that need... :)

Roman, what is the total cost of the knife that is in pre-order? I assume the pre-order cost is just a deposit to hold a spot?
Nah, no paid spots. I don't make people paying for spots. The prices on the website are the full price.
:)

Order placed.

Re: Elastic Ceramic

Little known fact as a side note: there was a Spyderco knife made in Switzerland in the early 2000s by Klötzli in Bern. Super rare, easily sells for a grand afaik when they pop up. Forgot the name of the model in question, but I'm sure someone here would know and I saw some posts on it a while ago....

The Simple Path to Wealth by JL Collins.

I have read a lot of investment and finance books, and this is, in my opinion, the best one written to date.

Re: SEX! (bolts)

I've done it both ways. I started with using two drill bits, one after the other, and then moved to the pilot bits when Larry (Legofwhat) posted them here a while back. I find that making the holes align properly (the small hole perfectly centered in the big hole is _much_ easier with the pilot bits...

Welcome to the forum!

A PM2 backspacer won't fit.

I'm not sure about aftermarket mods, but I bet you can find some custom scales, if that is something you're looking for.

Re: SEX! (bolts)

Does anyone have a source in the USA for bits like the ones that Standy posted?

My bits are all the two part variety, where you insert the pilot piece into the bit (so you can swap them out). I'd be interested to try the one piece sort that he posted, and see if I like them better (or worse).

Re: SEX! (bolts)

Most will agree it’s which of the 5 or 6 type of bolts you have. Also which of the 5 drill bits to use. That’s after you have bought the wrong bolts with the right bolts because you always buy 3 types. Definitely. I swear I have every single color and size combination at this point. I even bought s...

Re: SEX! (bolts)

The Maker Material Supply has a sizing guide for the drill bits that tells you which ones fit which Gulso bolts (and which Corby's also). At this point I have pretty much collected all the various drill bits. I use 1/4 Gulso's on all my mule scales (except for the ones I use Corby's on). Both 1/4 an...
