Yes, Denmark fought the oppression of the Nazis during WWII, but it was the underground resistance, not the government. The government rolled over and invited the Germans in, to avoid trouble.

Sword and Shield: I agree fully, just about anything can be opened with one hand, but I think the line goes at knives that are _designed_ to be opened with one hand. Butterflys, switchblades, dropblades, spyderco like folders, etc., are all illegal. Unfortunately this attitude is spreading ...

I don't suggest a concave surface instead of a hole, simply make a circular grove, maybe painted black, and laser-etch the spyder logo in the circle, still same surface elevation as the rest of the blade.
