Hey Landon last year I pulled all my cayenne plants the day before first frost, I want to say it was Oct. 14. I hung the from a light fixture that was in the same room as my woodstove for a couple of weeks...they are still sitting in mason jar in the kitchen right now perfect, hot and ready to eat. ...

If I can't ride it hard and put it up wet without too much trouble I'm not so interested...so no grails per se for me. Give me the the solid workhorses and I'm happy. I do wish some of the sprintier steels didn't command so much on the second market because I would give them a work out they would no...

Mr. Walker what is your opinion of the Tasman SE hawkbill for CQB and the like? I realize your longstanding interest in the warrior blade, and the trapping/tearing ability using the serrations on the backside, of which the Tasman mimics on a small scale it seems.

I have a Tapco G2 trigger in my converted Saiga 7.62x39, it's not half bad for an AK!! Enjoy your AK, they are work horses for sure.

They were designed in the 1890's with peasants in mind. So I would say that your being not impressed is not surprising. I personally own one, I believe a no.8 or 9 carbone, and it is nice to have such a thin stocked knife for when such a time arises....cheese and fruit slicing on a countryside picni...

I can close my locked Endura without depressing lock by hand!!!

Wow...just discovered this last night while cupping knife if right hand so fingers were clear, then applying pressure to blade, the lock did not keep the blade open. This knife is a year old, never been disassembled or abused. And I don't have abnormal strength either!! Anybody else experience this ...

What if I want to stab and slash longer with out having to sharpen as frequently??

It's basically a pocket talon. This deer season I'm going to see if I can use it to "unzip" the skin under the belly. I think holding it with the spine facing toward the innards and serrations out would possibly work. Also scoring around each hoof before skinning might be a good use also. ...

The FFG Superhawk works better than the Tasman's HG, but that's just my .02 You might be right, but I like the H1. And the Superhawk is twice the weight of the Tasman which could theoretically make my very light weight vintage swim trunks fall off causing a traffic incident out on the road that goe...

While on the topic, as some of you know I farm for a living and the Tasman makes a darn good harvest knife. Used it this week to harvest over 100# squash. I usually use a pair of snips, but though shoot I'll give the Tasman a go, which lives inside my swim trunks, which I often wear to work in. The ...

1095 rusts instantly for me, A2 on the other behaves much better. Why not go with something of that order? Of course if this is an experimental card board slicer for uses in home laboratories, then I guess corrosion is not much of an issue.

If you hold your food in your hand while you cut it the hawkbill works great. Just today my Tasman whittled on a cucumber, mainly the ends cause I don't enjoy opening up my mouth that large to remove them.

Well isn't japanese 6000 approx. 2-4 micron? It seems some arki black translucent can be in the 3 - 5? I think it can very, so perhaps your arki is not as fine as you think it is?
