I've got my Paramilitary 2 few days ago and I can't put it down!
It took me almost two months to find, now I'm happy.

Hey, thank you for all the feedback and opinions!
I think I'm also going to keep all my boxes.
Good news, I have just found a missing Ambitious box: it was hidden inside a bigger Fox knife box :)

I'm used to carry my folders only during my outdoor activities (hiking in the Alps) and I don't keep the knife inside the pocket because it is annoying for some movements.
I usually keep it clipped to the belt because I don't need to keep it hidden. So yes, the clip is important for me: it has to be ...

YES!
I think it would be great for us and also a good business for Spyderco, at least for the most successful models.
I would like to have some alternative replacement scales for the PM2, different colors, materials, etc.
Scales made by Spyderco would not be totally custom , but a good first step of ...

It's not really a sentence, just a US patent number and a couple "patent pending" declarations. But it does put the knife (or at least the clip) in the earlier half of the production run, as the info changed, then disappeared, over the years.

You are right, I can also see the full size pictures ...

Welcome to the forum MFitz, I'm new here as well.
I can only see the thumbnails pictures at the moment, but I'm curious, could you please write here the sentence engraved on the clip?

Yes I'm also keeping the boxes, basically because I like them.
As akaAK said, it is also an easy way to store the unused knives.
Unfortunately I've got many knives from my grandfather and my father without original boxes.
Well, ok some of them are very very old and I think they never had a box :D ...

Do you always keep your knife boxes?

Do you always keep your original knife boxes? If yes, why? If not, why? Do you think it could add value to your knives collection tomorrow?

I was thinking it bigger also, but it's really a beautiful knife!
Love the blade shape: it's a tanto blade, but reminds me more a short japanese katana than a military-tactical blade.
Thank you for the detailed description and the size comparison pictures!

I own the PM2, just bought, but I really like both.
I had the chance to see both in a shop here in Italy (incredible, I've found the PM2!!!), and from an aesthetic point of view I definitively prefer the PM2.
The blade shape is much more aggressive, as for the general design, its ergonomics fit my ...
