I own a trucking company and i meet my drivers late at night at truck stops. Some safe some not. I usually have my .45 in my dodge. I dont even bother to carry i just carry a serrated endura. For me i usually carry a tenacious half serrated. A delica is perfect not to heavy Yeah my wife says go get dressed ! I am im in a t shirt ,underwear with spydie clipped on and iphone in hand ready to go !!

I never knew anyone that didn carry everyday until i met my father in law. Being raised on dairy and farm i started carryin really young. Raised to lay knife down as much as possiable when sharpin to get a razor edge to cut calves and heifers ears to mark them and cutt bull balls. Now running trucks...

I have seen my dad sharpen down schrades , cases , pumas down to where they stab you when you reach deep in your pocket. We dairied and he was always cutting twine off the hay. Twine with dirt will dull a knife in a heart beat and shorten the life of a knife greatly

Yeah alot of us cowboys loves the delica . Its not to long when sittin in the saddle. Its perfect for if we get caught up in the rope and gotta get away fast. Only problem is you loose a good rope. Alot of people lost their thumb caught up in the rope and their pocket knife was way down in their poc...

Yeah down here we dock ( cut the tails ) off the pups that are cow dogs. So the tail dont get in the way. On Heelers and aussies only.
