Absolutely have to get the Advocate. It was nice to handle the Rhino and Jess Horn sprint. The variety of Chaparral handles are sweet, although I can't remember what they were made of. I was surprised to see the Slysz "mouse", which will hopefully make it to production as a Techno 2.

I've cut everything I've needed to with this knife since I got it.

Nothing redundant about the G10 Dragonfly. Very nice to carry. However, you should own a PM2.

Faded blue anodization
Hello all,
I recently commented in another thread regarding the faded blue accents on my titanium blue stepped Chaparral. I bought this knife at BladeShow this year and have carried it daily since. I work in a hospital as a nurse anesthetist so my knives rarely see heavy use but I have found the ...

Re: A moment of madness
Congrats Ninewalker,
An exceptional piece. Hard to make, very expensive, limited production and hard to carry for dear of anodizing damage. I carry mine occasionally. When I really want to impress. Looks good and works very well.

I bought the same knife at Blade Show this year and I've carried it everyday since. It's perfect for me. However, the blue accents have faded and was wondering if anyone knew what could be done?

Sal is probably more cognizant of blade length laws and more customer aware than any other manufacturer. Maybe because he lives near Denver that has such laws. This is to put a great knife into more hands legally. I can carry whatever here in AL but applaud the decision

A little off topic but, who was the super-enthusiastic foreign guy at the Spyderco booth? I talked to Sal, Eric, and M.Janich but was just curious.

Re: Blade show 2015 news thread
I came to Blade for a Sebenza, but left with a Stepped Blue Ti Chaparral and a couple of D'flies for my twin girls(turning 13 this week).
My favorites in the Spyderco prototype case were the Lil' Rhino (Reinhold design), Para3, Mantra, and the Vrango. Also had a Sage with compression lock.
