Agreed. One is Chinese made and the other Japanese. The QC is done in Golden however.

I can relate to your frustration. If my pivot were screwed all the way in, my M2 wouldn't even open. At 70% torque, I have smooth deployment, NO blade play, and perfect centering. The machined screw only holds the pivot and is not adjustable. I'm one of those OCD guys who tolerates no blade play or ...
