UKPK Drop Point Steels
Hi all,
I feel that the UKPK DP is one of the best slipjoint knife designs ever (and was my first Spyderco) does anyone else wish that they could have a salt (magnacut), S110v or Spy27 drop point UKPK?

Re: Opfocus for Europeans?
Dear Jim: It's not a matter of policy or choice, it comes down to our ability to verify credentials. Spyderco uses a third-party vendor, ID.me, to verify eligible OpFocus applicants. The reason is that they have access to all the U.S. databases of eligible personnel and have the mechanism to verify...

Re: Para 3 for large hands?
My palm width is 4-4.5" and the para3 LW is my usual edc because I find it the best grip size for the 3" blade. I also find it useful and easy to open wearing my Mbike gloves. I always use it with the choil.

If you look at the proro image, and measure the blade length of 2.5 inches against the scales, it might be just a tad under the NZ legal requirement?

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?
Sorry if this has already been answered, just asking for handle length, as here in NZ for carry on luggage and in city's the rule is a handle of no more than 95mm (3.7"). It would be an ideal edc for me here if it fits within this rule. I carry a lil' native for this purpose.

Re: Help with new Dragonfly
Big vote from me for the G10 FG VG10, my fave dragonfly. So good it feels perfect in the hand, solid lock up and nice edc steel.

Re: Anyone modify or improve their Byrds?
20221212_174006.jpg I had to put a wire clip on after catching my knife on a bench and destroyed the screw holes. Lucky I had a wire clip and bolt from a broken dragonfly 2. A little cutting and I'm quite pleased with the result ( it is my work knife so not perfect) now I wish all G10 meadowlark's ...

Re: byrd meadowlark 2 ss can be adjusted?
I normally look for the pivot, then carefully using a punch with the same (ish) diameter tap the pin carefully against a smooth steel surface, I lubricate the joint first. I do this gently on both sides til tightened enough. If the pin is proud of the handle I flat back using 800+ grit wet and dry t...

Just got my first delica
Having had a UKPK dp sabre for a little while I found the need for a locker, so I got a meadowlark 2 frn but hated the build quality ( lots of movement in lock up/vertical play). So I bought a delica wave.....WOW is all I can say great steel and ergos(thought I would miss a choil) will be a fave edc...
