Re: New UKPK imminent?

I’ve always wanted 52100 in micarta. Leaf or drop blade, either would be a grail for me.

Re: The more I carry and use the UKPK the more I like it

My top three most carried knives are the Chaparral, Urban, and UKPK… but really the UKPK has run away with it by a large margin. Have at least half a dozen and have gifted away several more.

The plain edge LC200N Salt has hardly left my side since I got it. Darn near edc perfection for me.

Re: Black blade for Para 2 left handed

A factory dlc, blacked-out left hand pm2 would be a personal grail. Sadly I think too many lefties are happy to adapt instead of buying up the satin lefty PM2s (& Millies) they made and demanding more.

Re: Spyderco Bow River

Have used mine in the kitchen almost daily since it came out. Not for making big family meals, etc, but for smaller tasks while preparing individual meals for myself or my daughter. It’s great, very useful and well finished for its price point. Would prefer an ambi kydex sheath as a lefty, but the l...

Re: Why is the Kapara so overlooked ?

I didn’t buy the Kapara due to the comp lock as I’m spoiled by the left hand pm2 and no longer own any other standard comp locks except the Sliverax. Have my fingers crossed for the slip joint version, but not sure the demand is there for it.

Re: Show Your Native Chief Shots!

Kinda wish I had held out for that M4 Chief for my swap. XHP is fine for my needs, but M4 is one the keeps eluding me for whatever reason. May buy the current Delica exclusive just to check it out.

I agree! Did you RIT Dye it or scale swap?

Thanks guys.

This one is a scale swap. Not perfect as the backspacer sits just a bit proud of the liners on it, and vice versa on the satin/orange s30v one. Really like the blacked out Look on the Chief though.

Re: Caly Series. What's Next?

Yeah, all good just different. I don’t think Spyderco would knowingly put out a knife in a “bad” steel, just different flavors.

I’ll pile on about the sharpening respone and also like the way it patinas.

Heck yeah!

Feel like the forum has been asking for a tool steel UKPK for YEARS. 52100 is the most requested iirc, but I’d be down for M4 too.

Re: Pingo/Roadie one hand and locked?

Whoa, the Metropolitan is using the Pingo handle?!?! Having trouble wrapping my head around that. Can’t wait to see it! Always guessed it would use the Spy DK handle to fit in with the Squeak, Urban, UKPK line.

Re: Caly Series. What's Next?

Worn inside the waistband with the clip threaded under a belt, it's virtually invisible. This is exactly how I carry them! You are right they disapprear IWB. I put a black wire clip on the blue UKPK S110V, and it turns invisible when carried this way with blue jeans. Also it is not prone to rust wh...

Re: Website has Ark SE in stock and some other hard to find models

Iirc, they are a drop shipping site that doesn’t update their inventory very often.

Probably safe to order from, but they may not be able to actually fufill the item and end up refunding if it’s no longer available from the distributor. glta

Re: Please help me pick my first spydie

Voted GB2 based on the options in the poll, but for the use described I’d probably want a serrated beater like the Meadowlark Hawkbill paired with another plain-edged edc (whatever floats your boat).
