Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

Got mine in. Nothing wrong with this one. Flicks open and drops closed. Don't mind the drop on the ball lock knives since your fingers are out of the way. The jade G10 looks not unlike the various grey G10 scales with a slight pastel green touch. Not as bad as I expected. Should be a thing of beauty...

Re: An Original Two-Screw Worker

One old 2screw and the recent sprint run in G10.
The G10 really helps.

Re: Your Personal Collection?

The collection is larger than it needs to be. My attitude is some people buy gold coins, I buy certain Spyderco knives. Looking back, I think I could have saved a lot of money a long time ago by buying three knives: a ZDP-189 saber ground Endura for EDC, a SE Pacific Salt for the car, and the origin...

Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

Timing is everything. Passed on the original go round. A little more interested today. Ordered a satin one because I want to grind down that bump on the bottom edge of the handle. I'd imagine these are the returns or cancellations. Worst case you might get a blemished one. The price is plenty decent...

Re: I do not like LC200N *rant*

I'd love to see the Siren in other sprint steels for EDC. But until then it's still in my pocket everyday. It's not the steel, it's the ergos. I keep a Cruwear Para2 on my desk next to the trackball. I let that handle the day to day things and save the edge on the Siren for when I need it on the roa...

Re: BladeHQ M4 Manix XLs

I had a satin one in the cart, but when I was checking out, the system was asking for my credit card info a second time. I bailed on the transaction as I wasn't feeling the need today.

Getting old.

Re: Smart Phones

I also build my own and put in the highest quality parts I can so they last. Just a head's up for any desk top builders out there. I recently updated an old win7pro to windows10pro using a new ssd and a clean install of a downloaded iso file (v1909) for a thumbdrive. I installed with the "I don't h...

Re: Smart Phones

I finally bought an iPhone SE just before they went disco. Bought it because it was small.

I only use it when I go out since there's no public phones anymore.

I take more pictures than make calls.

I had two iPod Touch (trainers) before that.

The Siren kicked the Endura out of my pocket lately.

Great ergos.

This will be my first jade green G10 from BHQ.
Hopefully they'll last longer than some.

Re: Status of the Native Chief

Focus on the sprint runs. You can always pick up a production S30V later on.

If you find you don't like the knife or a steel, you can easily sell a sprint over at Bladeforums.

Re: Why Do People Hate Knives?

I think all these people who supposedly hate knives probably have plenty of knives in their kitchen and on the dinner table. Obviously they don't really hate knives, they hate you having a knife, just like they hate you having a gun.

Re: Favorite movie fight scenes

Jim, I agree 100% with ALL your comments.

I think Tarantino’s responses brought a lot of grief down on himself, but he's probably pretty callous about criticism by now.

Gotta say, I did love the last 15 minutes of that movie.

Re: Favorite movie fight scenes

Ok, here's the infamous Bruce Lee scene from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood. I suppose there's some serious disrespect here, BUT... it's a fantasy movie and not reality. I liked the fight a lot, both guys hold their own pretty well. More importantly, it establishes the Brad Pitt character as a certif...

Hint: it has extra coarse G10 scales and is smooth as silk on the backspacer.

Wire clip is blacked out.

Fingerguard, just an added bonus.
Siren!
We have a winner. :)

The Siren with the Amalgam for comparison.
