Anybody got a pic or two of a spyderco rubicon?

I'm not familiar with this model and I'm told that spyderco won an award for it at the blade show this weekend. Any pics or stats would be great thanks

I've looked at this thread a couple times on different forums and I can't find anything I'm more psyched about than the frontier. The bigger they make it the better. The K2 is bigger but it's a frame lock and I'll take a liner lock over frame lock EVERY time. The dog tag is interesting if you want a...

I didn't see a mule sheath on sheathpro, is that something had custom made? What did they charge if you don't mind me asking? And how long did it take them to make from the time you ordered it? I've seen the ones on ebay and ordered one, but not real impressed with only left cross draw carry limita...

Gotta love Halpern Ti

I get done work last night at 8, home at 9, mailbox, package, Halpern, mule handles! Yay! Along with others i ordered 2 sets of orange and there's only one. Crap. It's after 9 at night, I know there's nobody there so i don't bother calling. I just go to the web site and leave an email. 10 at night i...

I'm in for two as soon as my favorite retailer gets them in stock ...this will, I think, become a classic. Maybe not a best seller but a classic Spyderco design. I'd have preferred they kept the name Yachtsman but Tusk works. That's all about marketing. Even if they don't have a copyright, Victorin...

I received my pair tonight after I got home (UPS residential deliveries have been running late in the day here it seems). Unfortunately my Halpern scales were brought by the house today by USPS when I wasn't home to sign for them (the USPS online tracking says a notice was left, but it wasn't at *m...

I'm very excited for these. Monday can't come fast enough! Ordering option 4 green micarta and I have an extra blue option 5 for the other. Is Sheathpro the best option? I'd prefer not to mail it in, maybe they have enough experience with option 4 and 5 scales by now? Sheathpro is awesome. You don'...

My Sage 1's are made in Taiwan and the quality of them is beyond reproach. If they made these at the same place so much the better as far as I'm concerned. I got my 2 mules, scales plus extras from Halpern, and sheaths from Sheathpro all ordered. Come on USPS! come on!!

Got my two ordered, so happy because I've wanted S110V in one form or another for a while... Anyone know why Halpern's prices appear to be so much higher than they were last year? I emailed asking about it, but the handle scales have all gone up around 50% (for option 5) and shipping went from 6$ t...

Excellent choice! I had one that Rachel confiscated so I bought 2 more. I also have large hands and the sage 1 is my go to small knife. I find others, D-fly Chapperal, ect are just too small and clumsy for my hands

Im liking this in H1 steel with orange or yellow extra grippy g10 handles, about 2 inches of serration at the base of the blade near the handle and a vented kydex sheath. I fish in salt water and my filets get used and abused. no such thing a a safe queen filet knife in my house

Did u consider doing this without taking the knife apart? Most people (me) are too lazy to bother with all that.

I got this email too. What really suprised me was the pre order for the red handled fixed Lum tanto. This was a sprint run that sold out in most places by early July. I didn't think spyderco was even making any more of these.

I'm a little bit biased but for me sage 1 and native 5 are the two best and most useful blades that spyderco makes. Period. Chaparral is nice but too small for my hands/tastes. Sage 1 classy and elegant but also large enough to do real work if needed yet can be cleaned up and used on a good steak. M...
