Re: Spyderco 2026 Delivered and Upcoming
The S90V Yojimbo not the larger Yojumbo, and it’s definitely not available at BBS. If any one knows where in the world to find one, I’d also much appreciate it as it’s basically the last CF/S90V Golden sprint I don’t currently have.

Re: OKCA Show this weekend! 4/11-4/12
I really want to go but don’t think it’s in the cards with the high gas prices. Hopefully Spyderco is planning a stronger presence there this year compared to last year (when I arrived Saturday Eric had already left and there were no prototypes or anything close to what their booth looked like ...

Re: SAFE QUEENS !!!
Similar to Larry, I have several hundred Spydercos and they certainly aren’t all going to see regular carry (like the old Japanese treasures he showed). I do have something like 50-60 knives I do rotate through, all get used and none are babied, including many that some would cringe to see in heavy ...

Re: Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Knife Diamond Mesh Natural G-10 (MagnaCut)
A drop or two of oil in the pivot should help a lot. If not, use a T10 Torx bit to loosen the front pivot screw a wee bit (may require you to heat it with a hair dryer for a minute to loosen the Loctite). Hope this helps! Cheers, Radioactive

Re: Blade HQ Milled Jade G10 PARA 3 Exclusive
OK, the plot thickens. Guess I’ll be the one to ask: why does the standard satin MagnaCut (bumblebee) Para 3 come with black coated liners if you all have satin coated Salt liners? Why couldn’t the screws on this new BHQ satin version be similarly clear-coated to match?

Re: Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Knife Diamond Mesh Natural G-10 (MagnaCut)
I don’t understand the issue with BHQ’s release of the standard PM2 clip point blade shape before the Tanto version. Their original jade M4 exclusive was released in 2016, the DLC version in 2018, and the two Tanto versions arrived in early 2021. So by those numbers, it might be a year or two (or ...

Re: The DAMAUKPK Project: Damasteel UK Penknife UKPK
Hi Sal, Superfool and other faithful followers of this thread, would choosing another Damascus steel help move this project along? Not that I’m not a huge fan of Damasteel and the very special Spyderco knives that have been offered in their variants, I’ve been hearing good things about DamaX, which ...

Re: Blade HQ Milled Jade G10 PARA 3 Exclusive
I'm pretty sure I saw earlier this morning that the liners are not coated, so maybe I'm way off on the hardware being Salt related. Maybe BHQ just thinks it looks cool 🤷🏻♂️
You’re totally right David, the liners aren’t coated! Why on earth the satin ones have black screws is beyond me. Great ...

Re: Blade HQ Milled Jade G10 PARA 3 Exclusive
If the liners are black plus obviously the hardware, and it’s carrying a MagnaCut blade, it’s simply the bumblebee Para 3 dressed up in a different (in my eyes unattractive) set of scales. I highly doubt Spyderco would be coating the liners with anything other than what they use on the Golden Salt ...

Re: Where to purchase second hand?
I purchase mine second-hand from AZCK, the Blade Forums Exchange, and from reputable sellers on eBay (which are out there if you do your research). I enjoy tracking down good deals on these sites (although the FOMO is real) but the hunt for rarer ones you might be looking for might take you years. I ...

Re: BHQ Exclusive Military 2
Well, OK then, not quite the exciting “evolution” I was hoping for. Their exclusive version with diamond milled natural G10 scales is $3 less than the stock Caribbean-style milled black G10 scales. I wonder how long these will last.

Re: BHQ Exclusive Military 2
I think the Bowie blade shape is exclusive to KnifeCenter.
You certainly may be right, but wasn’t the forest green 204P combo exclusive to KnifeWorks? Maybe BHQ went on a shopping spree and picked up the rights to use the Bowie blade shape from KC too? I guess time will tell what’s up their ...

Re: BHQ Exclusive Military 2
As I mentioned on their IG teaser post, my guess is that it’s a PM2 Bowie in DLC M4. It’s not a Military 2.

There will not be a satin version: https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?p=1830697&hilit=military+xhp#p1830780
That's a shame, the satin orange Military is an iconic model. I've now made two different variants of a satin version, one with a PS S30V blade and more recently a Magnacut blade ...

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2026 Report
Thank you Wouter! Always one of the best threads of the year and always highly anticipated! I love to see Spyderco branching out to Sheffield, I’m curious if that happening will also be a “flash batch” (one and done). As for the N5, no surprises there I suppose per the previous teaser, I’m curious ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?
Forest green 204P Millie 2 and a Ti Squeak. I’m surprised there isn’t a dedicated thread for the 204P Millie 2, top question of course being why it wasn’t a KnifeWorks exclusive like the several former offerings in this dark green G10/204P combo?

Re: Jeff Loffer from Cutlery Shoppe the new PM2 in REX 121
All righty, as an update, here's the tip on my wharnie REX 121 blade after slowly removing that ledge and burr with 400 grit sandpaper, paying close attention to not messing up the point on the tip too much. I think it turned out pretty well, and I even gave the rest of the spine a nice rubdown to ...

That’s interesting given I asked them for a list of any remaining 087s and that wasn’t included (or else I would have grabbed it). Who knows... Glad it found a good home! Cheers, Radioactive
