Re: All black Dragonfly Salt...one step closer?

That this is the first and only TiCN-coated Dfly astonishes me a bit - not sure why anything smaller than a Delica in the Seki factory is typically not considered for blacked-out treatment, given how awesome it looks!

Re: Spyderco Models From 2010 & Earlier That You Wish To Return

I have asked Sal and Eric several times in person for two years now to make a full size Jess Horn sprint. I’d be very happy with it having the same dark gray G10 and VG-10 like the recent Baby Horn sprint (which is still in stock at many dealers). The Baby version is great but the full size model is...

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

Regarding the smudging or fingerprints on the blade, you guys do know that Spyderco employs actual human beings with fingers and those fingers do indeed occasionally actually touch the knives they’re making... ;) :D

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

Some Halpern Titanium Mule scales in rosewood Dymondwood I picked up years ago (sanded smooth to remove the bumpy 3D stock texturing) and the new KC Shaman that arrived today. You can really pick up the layering in the Mule scales that likewise shows on the contoured edges of the Shaman scale. Both ...

Re: LUM China Folder Hardware

Good Morning All. I would sure like to know if any hardware for my Original Lum is interchangeable with another model? Screws and pocket clip are the main thing. Mine has titanium scales and if a beautiful blank canvas. Thank You. M2M Hi there, unfortunately the Lum clips are specific to that model...

Re: LUM China Folder Hardware

Hi Paul, Do you know if the clips you have on your Lums are available and do they fit the large Lum? I'd like to buy a polished stainless one for my large Pink Lum. :) Hi Bloke, the large Lum Chinese folders use the standard 3-hole screw pattern of the Delica, Endura, etc. You can just swap a silve...

Re: Caly 3 love?

Much love https://i.imgur.com/2x067ul.jpg I guess I get to be the old guy that chimes in here ;). The Caly 3 (C113) is the back lock version of the original UKPK (C94) with the Caly 3.5 (C144) coming along later. While the UKPKs are made in Golden, the Calys are made in Moki Japan at the other major...

The bombshell looks more like a Michael Burch knife than Spyderco has done before. I’m very excited for one.
It looks like a Burch knife because it is! ;)

Re: KC Exclusive Shaman Rosewood REX 45

Here’s my rosewood Pingo with scales made by Ted Phillips here on the forum (phillipsted). I’ve had these scales on this Pingo for years now with zero issues of warping, etc. and these guys are linerless. I’m betting a Shaman in this configuration with the steel liners will be quite nice. My guess i...

Re: Help me identify this Paramilitary 2

Hi there, you have a fairly rare first run Paramilitary 2, evidenced by it having the number 107 Collectors Club marking. This means it was one of the first 200 knives of this model to be fully assembled in Golden. I would be flabbergasted if it was a fake (why on Earth would a fake have a CC number...

Re: TNP Blue Dragonfly C28PBBL2

Wait, what??? There’s finally a TiCN-coated Dfly, and in S35VN, and we all missed it??? This is the biggest shocker of the year for me so far. I’m not sure if many will show up on eBay since I have no idea if they ran any CC versions of these. If not, they will be very tricky to track down. I’ll sta...

Re: Knifejoy Exclusive Para Military 2

Wow, love all those! Now you've got me thinking...was the s35vn blade from the brown/dlc para3? I may need to do that same swap. Yes, the red lightweight was a blade swap with the brown G10 DLC S35VN model, with hardware off the new black DLC BD1N lightweight. The leftovers are a black lightweight ...

Catalog should be released any day... I’m pretty sure a few new items appeared in the catalog last year, not many but a few. No sprint pages anymore though... :(
