Spyderco password
I was informed by Apple (iPhone) that my Spyderco.com password has be compromised. When I log into my Spyderco.com profile I see “change username” but not change password. I’m using an iPhone. How can I change my Spyderco.com password? (Not the same password for here) Didn’t know where else to ask. ...

Re: Manix 2 Lightweight clip screw help!
The fastener is flat on one side, and the hole has a flat spot to match. The fastener should not rotate in the hole. If I needed to repair such a problem, I'd cut a slot with a Dremel, and then use a flat blade screwdriver to remove it. If you do a pretty job, you could reuse the fastener. IMG_7395...

Manix 2 Lightweight clip screw help!
I just got a Casey Lynch titanium clip for my Manix 2 lightweight.
The clip screw just spins.
One side is torx the other side is smooth.
I’m guessing it’s loctited.
If that’s the case - how can I safely heat the FRN without melting it?
Will boiling water melt FRN?
Thanks in advance.

Black Friday purchases coming in
I received my Q Ball today. I must say I’m very impressed. The fit and finish are spot on. The centering is perfect. The grinds are very even. I couldn’t ask for more. This is a great knife. I almost said great little knife but one of the surprises for me was it’s bigger than I imagined. The other p...

Re: How was your 2019?
I have got to stop buying knives in 2020.
I’ve been saying that for a few years now.
But this time I mean it!

You know there’ll be sprints. But I understand not waiting.

Re: Para 3 lightweight
Well, the bloom is off my Para 3. I touched it up on a Sharpmaker. The 40* angle was perfect on the apex of the edge. I don’t feel I used it hard. I just open boxes. Cut a few zip ties. But it felt a little dull. The BD1N steel sharpened right up. With just the brown stones it would shave hair again...

How do you get the veteran discount?
When I logged in to my account I’d already signed up.
And I got my Para 3 from GPKnives

Re: Sage 5 Lightweight
The Sage 5 Lightweight looks like a large Chaparral Lightweight with a compression lock. I really like the Chaparral Lightweight and I just got the Para3 Lightweight so I’ll probably pass on this one and wait for the Caly 3.5 Lightweight.

How many other companies are so responsive to their customers?
We ask and they deliver. It’s amazing!

Re: Bent tip on my Para 3 LW
I bought a Native 5 carbon fiber factory second with the very tippy tip broken off. A few minutes on my Wicked Edge and you’d never know.
That can be fixed. If nothing else you can send it back to Spyderco for sharpening.

Re: My experience with the Caly3
I have a brand new in box original G-10 Caly 3 in my safe. I also have a user and I love that knife. I prefer the 3 over the 3.5 so I may just wait to see if a Lightweight Caly 3 comes out.

Re: Don't get cut with a ffg blade
The worst cut I’ve had was from a VG-10 Endura. I was learning to sharpen and evidently figured it out. It was so sharp I didn’t even realize I’d cut myself until it bled.

Yep. I love the orange too! I have an orange dragonfly now.
In the latest Reveal, this is the knife I’m most interested in.
I wonder if I could swap the scales.....

Re: Para 3 lightweight
I wear xl or size 11 gloves. I would say I have average size hands. Since you have a Delica, the Para 3 handle is the same length. Whatever grip you can get on a Delica will be the same on s Para 3 without using the choil. Thanks for your reply! But to be honest: I can't believe thar the Para 3 off...

Re: K390 Caly?
I vote for a Caly 3 as opposed to a 3.5.
I prefer smaller knives.
And I love the Lightweight versions.
I have 2 Native 5s, the Chaparral and the Para3 in Lightweight.

Re: Para 3 lightweight
That´s interesting! May I ask: What is your hand- / glove size? I got rid of my Native, exactly because I did not like that I HAD to use the choil to get a four finger grip, while the handle itself in length COULD have offered enough space for that (a four finger grip) if it would have been shaped ...

Do you need a Rolex to tell time? No.

Others don’t see the point.
