I bought one on E-bay, got it cheaper because it wasn't highlighted as titanium. The knife is heavy with a thick stainless blade and stainless liner locking mech with the titanium handles on top. The clip can be moved to tip up or down positions, I just removed it altogether. The knife looks be easi...

Sold by spyderco but without the name, I'm carrying a G SAKAI titanium clutch lock. The anodizing came off almost as soon as I got, just by rubbing the handle surface with my thumb, there was a bare patch so I took the rest off with #0000 steel wool, looks good now. The thing is sharp as a razor, mi...

Just got my clutch lock and also first "bite" ever. This is a very sharp knife and is very quick opening with just a flick of the wrist. The handles won't come off easy and they don't need to. It's already "pocket worn" and the blue is not as bright as on the pics.

Is this a knife with aluminum handles coated in titanium? I took it to be Titanium handles that were anodized. I've had a anodized leatherman micra and the coloring flaked off like cheap latex paint. If it is aluminum handles I won't bother. Thanks for the info though.

Taking off anodized finish...

Waiting for my Indigo Blue G. Sakai clutch lock but I have one problem, I don't like blue. I've seen some on e-bay "antiqued" indigo blue and it looks like they've just removed most of the anodized color. I was thinking of removing the handles and putting them in a new paint can full of ei...

I picked up a PE non-chamfered worker that I believe is a left handed knife, it has three screws in the clip also without a laynard hole. Used but solid and locks tight.

Thanks for the info/suggestions. I need to order a stone anyway and will check out the Chris Reeve pouch at a local store. The Kiwi hasn't arrived yet, bought it from e-bay going on three weeks ago. I need to find a permanent contact/dealer. Any out there with good prices ?

kiwi pouch

Tried to make one but it looks too pitiful to put the knife in. Anything commercially available out there to protect knives from the ravages of keys and change ?
