Anybody here wrestle in High school?

Or college? Anyone who wrestled branch out and do Greco or Freestyle? I have a seventh grader who is in year two of fairly serious competition and training in Folkstyle. There was no wrestling in my part of the state as a youngster but I absolutely love this sport. My son has grown so much in so man...

Re: Martial Arts Experiences Discussion Thread

Well, as a child of the 80’s who was born in the 70’s, the rule was first one to bleed or “quit” lost and it was over. And most guys became friends after or at least settled differences. Now the curb stomping begins on the ground and it isn’t over until someone videos it and someone is unconscious o...

Re: Martial Arts Experiences Discussion Thread

Yoshukai and TKD as a kid- neither helped me in real fights. As an adult, Judo and BJJ but mostly Judo. It is very applicable as so much begins from a standing position. As an aside, my son began wrestling this year. He was 11 and is now 12. In my opinion there is nothing better to toughen and stren...

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

VG10 is so much better than it gets credit for And I'm not at all disagreeing with that either. The main reason I would like to see them do a Sprint Run of the C-60 Ayoob in something other than VG-10 is because the first two issues of this great model were both done in VG-10 and I think most peopl...

How about the same green the original Lil Temp came in or the blue the original Yojimbo had an option on?

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Man, I shouldn’t take so much time off from this place! I literally flew through 9 pages looking for “did Sal respond?” And then BOOM. I want a SE and would gladly take VG10. As a matter of fact, with the time I spent away from here working- VG10 is a great steel. It’s ability to Resharpen easily ma...

Re: Which Dragonfly Should I Get?

After carrying a HAP 40 for 3 years or so, I sprung for a Wharn. It’s great but not better than the original to me. VG10 is great for EDC, so get the original in VG10 would be my pick. I also prefer clip removed, floating in front pocket

Re: So what's your top 3 favorite steels? and why?

HAP 40- basically high performance VG10
VH10- stainless, sharpens easy and toothy, doesn’t chip
H1- impervious to rust, serrated beast

Grocery stores are hiring temps. Medical and Pharma are pretty recession and pandemic resistant.
