Oohhhh an Endura and a Smith & Wesson? My favorites :) I tried to dig up a pic of my S&W AR-15 and one of my Spydies, but I couldn't find one. http://s30.postimg.org/pwz6zj0rl/unnamed.jpg Second best behind Spydies and S&Ws is Spydies and hiking trails. The Endura is my all time favorite...

Welcome to Spyderco knives :)

I got my first Spydie, a VG-10 combo edge Endura 4 with the green ZDP-189 handles, in a trade. It was a pretty special FrankEndura. :spyder: I was hooked right away. I still carry an Endura every day, it's one of my favorite objects of all time. :spyder:

I EDC'd a Tenacious for 3 months and I have a Delica in my pocket right now as a backup to my Endura. My Endura is by far my most carried knife and favorite of all time. I like the Tenacious, but I prefer pretty much everything about the Delica. Not Chinese made, better ergos, slimmer, lighter, grip...

I'm one of the people who, given the choice, would take a pinned pivot. Even if in 3 years of use you develop a little play, you know the pivot is never going to loosen itself entirely, or need to be readjusted every few months.

I was at work at the grocery store just the other day, and I was opening 16 boxes of grocery bags, which totals about 70 feet of thick cardboard to cut through. I hadn't sharpened my Endura in a month or two and it's my EDC and sees a lot of use, including lots of cardboard. After a box or two I jus...

I think what is far more interesting than the "hard use" folder market that some people are so hostile towards is the fact that these "hard use" folders can be used to invent and discover new things which can be applied to slimmer, every day task carry knives. Why shouldn't the k...

I've never gotten a Spyderco, or for that matter, any folding knife over $20, that had any quality control problems whatsoever. I buy my knives from private individuals or reputable online dealers. I have had 3 Enduras, and every one was completely perfect. 2 of them were used. The Endura is my favo...

And bh49, "Any knife without a Spyderhole is defective." I am stuck home with the flu, and that just made my day. I'm going to be chuckling at that for days. It's so true. :) :spyder:

All the no name China knives on eBay and overpriced, big name junk knives at Bass Pro and Wal-Mart just make me sad when Spyderco byrds, Kershaws, Spyderco's value line, and the Ontario RAT knives exist, let alone nicer Spydies made in free countries and even the good old US of A.

I don't have a delica yet, but I will come right out and say that I have not one single complaint about my Endura 4. As fanboy as it sounds, I will be very very impressed if I can find something that does what I need with more practicality. I don't think it will be kicked out of my pocket until I g...

My favorite gun forum is far and away The High Road. And don't mind the one guy who had a bad experience with Taiwanese Spydercos- Spydercos are far and away the most carried and recommended folders on the forum. Usually blue and flat ground- I saw so many Enduras, Manix's, and PM2s in the "EDC...

I think, like everyone else said, a G10/premium steel Endura would sell like hot cakes. I wouldn't want them to cheapen the current model, however, at least the blade steel. I love VG-10 and I think it kicks the rear ends of most $50-75 knife steels.

I would give it one of the old school barrel bolt clips that you can tighten with a penny like the Salts still have. Then I would replace all the torx heads with phillips or flathead. Then I would take out the liners and give it solid FRN or G10 handles. Simple, tough, field repairable Endura.
