I understand that the great majority of Black Widow spider bites occur on men. Black Widows like to hang out in warm, dark wood- like below outhouse seats. Women can use the outhouse without incident, but men have certain appendages that protrude into the Black Widow territory, and that’s where they...

No one addressed the topic of toxicity. I use my Spydie for everytying, including food preparation. I would insist that my knife lube be non-toxic.

vampyrewolf Your system of maintaining an angle by keeping the spine, one thickness off the sharpening surface may not give you the consistent angle you seek. The attached extreme example shows two blades, both 1/8” thick. One is ½” wide, the other 1-1/2” wide. Both spines are 1/8” off of the surfac...

So you scared yourself, embarrased yourself, paid a paifull price, and learned a lesson: A small wrong. But you did a very big right- you didn't drive. Well done!

Take all things in moderation. A few ounces of red wine before bed time can be very good for you.

I would think that any folder could be slicked up a bunch by getting a milky solution of household cleanser into the pivot, and working the action for a half hour. Then just rinse and work the abrasive out.
