Spydiechef from knifeswap. Wanted a hunting/skinning knife so I looked for a used one that I won’t feel bad beating up in the field.
Congrats on the 'Chef. I really like mine.
My incoming is a teeny tiny Manbug Salt sheepsfoot for beach carry.

Re: Lil' Native Magnacut

A Lil' Native LW Salt with backlock and wire clip would be a day 1 purchase for me.

Re: Magnacut Salt Native, then Manix, whats next?

There's the Para3 LW Salt some day, too. I'm gonna have to decide between the N5 SE/PE Salts (which I prefer as a possible beach knife) and the P3 LW Salt (I strongly prefer the deep wire clip).
If there was a wire clip N5 Salt life would.be simpler.

Give this big model a wire clip, PE & SE, and call it the Native Chef.

Not Golden models, but I'd take a S110v blurple Smock or Ikuchi.

A Chap or Ikuchi would be fun.

Re: Smocks in stock!

Too bad the Ikuchi doesn't seem to have the same following. I've been patiently waiting for an exclusive version, but I'm starting to doubt there will ever be one.

I would love to see some Ikuchi variants -it's a great knife with a brilliantly simple design.

Thanks for the heads-up on Smock ...

Used a Perrin Street Bowie to slice up some onions and garlic to go in some Shakshuka for dinner, tonight.

I've hold a place personally for breast cancer type things, I'd Rock a pink pm2 no problem.
Pink guns and knives aren't just for girls!
It's good for a camping/practical use knife because if you drop it, you can actually find it.

Best post in many days ! Beautiful and congrats . MG2
Thank you. I may need to show my Ikuchi off next. Finished that years ago, but don't think I ever got around to posting it.
... and? :-)

This one looks really nice, btw.

Re: Ikuchi XL

As long as the increase in size doesn't interfere with the mechanics, I'm up for any Ikuchi variant. I edc mine all the time when I'm not carrying one of the other heavy-rotation crowd (OG Chap, Sydiechef, Green forum Native 5. beater ZDP Delica).

I have OG blue and black Dodos, and also a newer orange one, but they are all PE. I probably "need" a SE one.

Carbon fiber Chaparral- light and a semi-smooth scale surface that doesn't grab like FRN teeth or G10.

Re: I want a 4” Spydiechef

My Spydiechef is a regular in the rotation (and made food prep life easier when we visited my parents on New Years -note to self:bring sharpmaker to parents' house next time!).

I'd happily buy one with a longer blade if made.

Am I the only one wondering where I can get a ZDP delica for $35?
Iirc I got it off ebay, it was new but had the most absurdly asymmetric and crooked edge grind I've ever seen on a Spyderco.
It took forever to thin and even out with an Edge Pro, but has been great ever since.
