I love the Millie just the way it is. I say keep her the same. :) The only Spydie I ever traded was my beloved Millie CE in CPM-440V. Sigh. I've always missed that knife... It's one of my favorites as well. So beautiful that it has prompted a half dozen or so purchases of the various flavors. The q...

Buying production knives with expectations of custom knives is almost guaranteed to leave people disappointed. Production tools have production flaws, and production prices to match. But it simply doesn't have to. When proper time is spent by skilled hands, the end result is typically phenominal. T...

I see that no one else has the courage to answer the original question: Yes, since Spyderco has no manufacturing in other countries in this hemisphere, those knives made outside the US ARE THE EQUAL of knives made overseas. This will upset my wife, but I also believe that food prepared outside my h...

i agree its silly.......lots of laws are silly. theres a law in hawaii that states that everyone who lives there needs to own a boat. still laws are meant to preserve order (or give ppl something to do :P ) i do agree i wish my tax money went to education instead of ppl obtaining expensive knives.....

Have a nice day, and we hope you feel better soon. This entire thread was started, by me, in order to inform those who use this forum what the federal law was requiring Spyderco to do, to explain that there could be very serious consequences to crowing about violating the federal law, and that some...

You could probably deal with the issue by going thru a vendor. You send it to the vendor, the vendor sends it to Spyderco for repair. IIRC, BladeHQ will do this for you (even if they didn't sell you the knife). There probably will be a small fee for processing. This. Work with the local vendor you ...

I don't know if I necessarily agree with you here, OP. Thanks to cooler heads, it is not unlawful for me to purchase or possess an automatic knife. The federal government, when passing the switchblade law, they could only do it based on interstate commerce. Not on public safety. Therefore, as long a...

1st let me say that if I had to choose only one, it would be the Embassy, hands down... I'm with you 100%. I tested and demoed both at the knife shop, and the Embassy just felt better to me. More solid and a beautiful mixture of G10, S30V, and anodized aluminum. The Citadel is a great knife, don't ...

Thank goodness for the handful of states that do not restrict ownership. Lobby your representatives. Shown them then states that have successfully trusted their citizens as adults. An automatic is no more or no lessmdangerour than a standard folder. Many, in skilled hands, can be opened more quickly...

Spyderco Autonomy - release date?
I fell in love after picking up the black Embassy in had spyder-edge serrated, that I had to pick up the black plain edge (with the complementary bonus of having a much stronger action) a mere 1.5 months later. Alternating, they have turned into my 80% of the time EDC tool. After taking in love with...

Help cleaning my new G10 Bushcraft blade + perceived quality question for everyone
Good evening fellow Spyderco enthusiasts and addicts. Long time reader and admirer of the forum and community, first time poster. My name is Sven and was bit by a certain "bug" very familiar to us all here about 5 years back with an incredible gift of a flawlessly perfect black blade SE G-...
