I have a kabar d'eskabar that I bought to try out d2. I use norton india stones and can get a edge sharper on the d2 than any steel I have from 1095 to zdp 189. I usually take the clip off all my carry knives makes them super slim and comfortable in the pocket especially enduras its like it disappears I tried it with the dragonfly and couldnt open it on small knives it really comes in handy

If you want a super smooth knife run your bathtub half full of warm water hold the knife under and move it in a choping motion rapidly a few times take it out and soak it down with oil let it set all night then rub with a rag inside out openingg and closing several times and wiping the oil as you go
