Re: Came here to pick a fight!

I have a perfect fluted CF Native. Zero flaws anywhere on this knife — and I mean it. I love the lock up on a Natives in general as they lack the vertical rock I expect in Seki lockbacks. In addition I also own a G10 and couple FRNs as well and it might be my favorite Golden made design.

Re: 2025 Black Friday map holiday

I think this is the year I finally pull the trigger on a Native 5 Salt SE Magnacut. Love my s110v and DLC s30v. Never buy the SE Magnacut when it's on sale, always regret it.

I have the knife you speak of and love it — highly recommended… but I just have to share the SE Magnacut Chief is ...

Re: Spyderco service really this bad

I don’t have experience with this scenario because whenever I’ve stripped a screw I considered it my fault and dealt with it accordingly. Trying to shame the company for a screw up I created must be that 4D chess I keep hearing the kids talk about.

Depending on the price, I'd be in for a new release of the Rookie, C95 Manix, Schempp Barong, Reverse, Province, Centofante 4 wharncliffe, or Worker, among others.

Joined these forums simply to raise another voice for the Barong. It'd be a dream to get a modern sprint run of that knife.

Re: Normal variation in serrated grind?

In short, yes that’s normal. You’re also looking at a full flat grind vs. saber grind. The angle on the serrations are going to be different so not an exact comparison. Also — you’ll see the references to “deep” and “shallow” serrations around the forum. Basically, there is a little variance among ...

Nice sale at dack right now. $136 for the Spy27 mil2, $145/155 for the s30v Bodaciouses, $96 for the para 3 salt lw, etc.
Bodacious out the door is $150.77. For that price I clicked the submit button. And now we wait…

Viagra Boys new album, Viagr Aboys, released today. I’ve only given it a single listen so far but I think I prefer their last album, Cave World. Still nice to have new music from them though, they’re fairly unique.

In classic forum fashion I’m going to recommend a different knife. Have you considered a k390 LeafJumper? They’re discontinued and available at discounted prices right now!

Re: Stretch 2 xl In K390 At Last!

Family portrait! I love my Enduras; really I do. But this design has grown on me rather quickly. Most folders with that hook on the butt really cramp the grip and it just isn’t comfortable. The handle on the S2XL though is nice and big with plenty of room and a joy to use! It doesn’t get unwieldy ...

Re: Potential Tariffs & Golden, CO.

Well someone report how tariff's have effected you personally.

Higher material costs due to steel/aluminum tariffs certainly took a chunk out of my 2018/2019 bonuses last time around. Probably years beyond that too but it gets difficult to parse with covid.

The future is uncertain and ...

Looks like that Stretch XL I bought from Dack shipped just in time and will likely be the last knife I buy for a while.

$110 at Dack outdoors. You just will have to wait.
Finally ordered one last night. Shipping included plus a $5 coupon was $116 out the door. Pretty happy with the price; now the waiting begins…

I’ve picked a few very nice knives with badly abused edges for dirt cheap. If you know how to sharpen and are okay with removing some metal, there’s some deals to be had.

Re: Switch Gamers

I'm a big Metroid fan and have been since the 80's. I just started BOTW last year and I'm on my 5th playthrough and probably enjoy it more than any game I've played. Hopefully Prime 4 can be played on the normal switch, not sure I want to buy another console since I've only had it for 2 years.
