I own one Sebenza and a lot of Spydercos. My Sebenza came VERY sharp. However, with each new Spyderco, it's always the same thing. I open the little magnifying glass on my SAK and examine the edge~~then think, "How DO they get these things SO sharp"! My two latest Spydies, a SS Cricket and Howard ...

I ordered a one triple A, "limited edition" Arc. Like Ted, I think it's going to be about the best pocket light I've ever purchased. I bought the limited edition because I liked the gray body and the fellow at "Bright Guy" told me that the limited edition Arcs have slightly brighter LED's.

My SS Cricket has been on me every day since I got it. (Titanium Salsa on the other side.) I've got a lot of knives. I even had to buy another safe for knives and guns. Spyderco is definitely the way to go. I love them!

Boxer,
I've thought about removing the clip also. However, the SS is so thin, I think I'll leave it on. As far as "loosening it up", I just put some Militec-1 on mine and it's fine now. I LOVE that lube!

My wife bought me a "Toad" as a gift last year. I didn't carry it because I thought I might loose it. However, at the last gun&knife show, I puchased a "back-up Toad". Now I carry the one she gave me nearly every day. I love it!

Stainless Steel Cricket

Two weeks ago, I called my regular knife shop and asked if they could order me a SS Cricket. They checked and said, "not yet". Friday I got a surprise call from my knife shop. "We have a SS Cricket, would you like it"? WOULD I!!!! 15 minutes later, it was clipped to my pocket! It's a beautiful ...

I was standing on a crowded bus in Switzerland. I felt my day-pack being slowly unzipped. I turned and said "Caught ya"! He sheepishly smiled and I figured it was over. It was not. A couple of minutes later, I felt the zipper going down again! THIS time, I LOST MY TEMPER and kicked the SOB in the ...

I purchased one of these Spyderco Knives yesterday NIB, for $87.47+Tax. I think I got a good deal. The guy at the Gun&Knife Shop told me that one scale is "micarta" and the opposite scale is "carbon fiber". I think one side is definitely micarta, but the opposite side does not look like CF. Does ...

My next will be the carbon fiber "Delica". I'm a fan of carbon fiber. I'm looking at a CF "Dragonfly" on the desk beside me. It's a beauty!

New "Toad"~

Hi guys. I just registered and looked around. Nice place! I own "several" Spyderco knives. The very first time I saw the "Toad" model, I fell for it. My wife bought me one as a birthday gift. Yesterday, at a gun and knife show, I purchased another NIB Toad as a "back-up" because I thought I might ...
