Spyderco returned my Ti Millie today. The knife was repaired; the cosmetically defective choil jimping corrected, and my $5.00 check returned (uncashed) with the blade. This was handled just as expected. Timely, and professional.

Send it back by all means but demanding attention to detail that will increase price point for the rest of us(who are okay with the flawed jimping) is just entitlement issues. Needy baby, greedy baby. ;)

Let's hope Spyderco gives you a new knife with perfect jimping so you can be happy but don't ...

Also, what part of "you can't expect to have it at this price point if you want that much attention to detail" can't you understand? what part of "it's my money, my knife, and my choice to send back to Golden" can't you understand? The knife has a pretty high MSRP. I can, and do expect ...

If they respond (like one of you suggested) by saying that this very questionable choil jimping is "within specs," then I'll react accordingly. The more I think about it, I spent hundreds on this knife, so I should expect good craftsmanship ...

Thank you all for your responses. I think I'll send this one back to Golden for evaluation. I'll google on how to do that, exactly.

Odd choil jimping on new Ti Millie (with pics)

Greetings all. I decided to purchase a Ti military direct from Spyderco via SHOT show this year. They arrived a while back. When I was looking over the blade, I noticed the odd choil jimping and off centering. Just wondering if you all think this is what I should expect from the Ti Millie or if you ...

My first post here. Really cool storage pictures; I'm also looking for a storage option. I'm active military and move a lot so I can't lose mobility. Thinking the spyderco sleeves would be the best option for me.
