Spyderco spotted on Survivor!
Yesterday on Survivor season 46 host Jeff Probst busted out his personal knife to cut some contraband off the immunity idol. Was really cool to see his personal carry, a Spyderco Salt. I get that people all over the world own, carry and use Spyderco but it was cool and surprising to see one on the g...

Re: Crucarta UKPK?
This is a great idea. I really don’t understand why a more refined or upgraded version of the ukpk isn’t a thing.

Oh man, I would be absolutely “in” for a wharncliffe ukpk. I’ve owned a few Urbans with the same blade shape, and the extra length you get from the ukpk design would be fun.

Re: Venting about Tanto PM2.. again.
Sneaky Canuck does it again! Happy to say it made it north of the border. It’s a nice piece, some marks on the blade straight from factory though.

Re: Venting about Tanto PM2.. again.
I agree with the OP and his concerns. I’m biased though as I’m a big fan of tantos, and have asked Spyderco to produce more over the years. I knew about this release and even had one in my cart. However, I forgot that bladehq doesn’t ship to Canada any longer. If this knife was a sprint, or regular...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
The Millie 2 S90V/Carbon Fiber is described on the site as having a "subtle peel-ply texture for a secure grip". I'm not sure how much 'subtle' is. The Caly 3.5 CF is very smooth, no texture. The Chaparral CF/G10 has a nice texture, but the description text doesn't describe that. The secu...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)
Todays reveal has me wondering if the Millie 2 will have nested liners, or if it will be full liners like on the cruwear pm2. The weight of the cruwear Millie 2 is listed as 122g, which is the same as the standard s30v Millie 2.This tells me the liners are nested, or the reveals weight is a typo. In...

Re: COMING SOON!!!
This thread and these kinds of complaints are why Spyderco had to change the way they made their catalog, why the Amsterdam meet can’t be shared, and why Sal is more tight lipped about what is coming in the future. It’s a real shame and I miss the old days. It was a lot more fun. The instant gratifi...

I am digging how much better it carry’s now being thinner. The clip does not get in the way like before. I had to find some shorter screws but it’s working great in its slimmer guise. https://i.postimg.cc/kgb5bYDS/99-D79982-4-FF6-4064-A4-B5-C24-F0-E1-DA0-AF.jpg Oh god no! The horror! I don’t think ...

Silly post I know, but I found myself talking with Ai tonight and it was just too much fun not to share.

New year, new knives. The compression from the host site is pretty terrible so feel free to check out my pictures on my instagram page for a better look. @Spacemonkeyknives https://i.imgur.io/R6UrwUs_d.webp?maxwidth=640&shape=thumb&fidelity=medium https://i.imgur.io/Z6MxvVW_d.webp?maxwidth=6...

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?
At first glance I thought it was an eye-sore even though I knew that if Mr. Janich designed it, it would do what it is supposed to. But it is already growing on me. The part about it being so small it would be legal in most places is a good enough reason for me.
