Re: liner delete delica scales...?

I’ve swapped a Salt2 H-1 blade onto a delica body. I’ve also added the signet ring to several knives. You want delica scales that have a liner delete and the removable backspacer. I don’t think that has ever been made. I believe your only option is to buy a delica and swap the blades. In the end, ho...

Re: Question regarding Collectors Club knives...

I don’t like the CC number on a knife. In my mind it decreases the value of the knife. Most often if I see a knife listed with CC# I just move on. It’s not like it is even my number.

Re: DLC CRUWEAR Manix with Smooth Black G-10 Knifecenter Exclusive

I bought this exclusive Manix2 specifically to be customized with titanium scales. But after receiving the knife I like the smooth G10 scales so much that I am keeping this one factory original. Now I have to hunt down another Manix2 for the new scales.

I gave up after about 13 minutes but then suddenly the page reloaded with the order number. I may have been about the last to get one.

Re: Your Favorite "Obscure" Spyderco model?

Bi-Fold (C108P). I am not sure how many were ever released since it was a restricted model. I did manage to pick one up many years ago. With it's spring hinged action, this might be the most interesting knife I will ever own.

The two best Ed Schempp knives (and two of the best Spyderco knives) are the Barong (C124) and the Khukuri (Kuhkri) (C125). They are worth the hunt and the price to add to your Spyderco or Schempp collection.

I agree with the Resilience (C142GP). You have to see it in person to believe it. I would love a US made CPM-S30V version. The other day I pulled out my H1 Salt to open a package and someone remarks, "Ooh, you've got the big knife!" Only to reply, "It's the smallest knife I have (that...

I buy lots of older NEW or LIKE-NEW knives from the secondary market. If the knife does not have the box in at least fairly decent shape than I do not even consider it for purchase (it would have to be a very rare knife.) It's just part of the value for modern production collector knives. It is the ...

Also consider the Salt 1 with the H1 blade. For a few more dollars you will not have to worry about rust. It is very light weight knife. Now that I am looking, I may order a Salt 1 for myself today.

Yes, I agree that Manix is kinda too large to EDC especially I am a student The ball-bearing lock is awsome, do not worry. It has been around for some time now. Compared to the all the steels available now (VG-10, CPM S30V, ZDP-189, CTS-XHP, CPM-4, Elmax), 440C it is not a good steel. But is still ...
