Got my pair of CBN rods today. Unfortunately one of the rods is slightly "twisted" along the longitudinal axis so that the flats are not plane anymore - only noticed this after I put them into the Sharpmaker base to start sharpening. If you look along the rod the twist is clearly visible, ...

If you can sharpen to a decent edge you can sharpen ZDP-189 to that edge, too. It just takes a good bit longer.
Dragonfly is a rather small knife, Manix 2 is quite the contrary of that. :)

I guess we all agree that the para 2 is a most excellent example of knife design. To improve this all further changes have to be "top notch". - matte Titanium wire clip (deep carry) - Titanium scales - even better screws - perhaps a more expensive steel? - polished blade? - my personal wis...

If the edge doesn't look spectacular enough, you could do one or two light 90° cuts :eek: into a sharpening stone. This should certainly mess it up properly for our microscopic viewing pleasure. :-)
