Lanyard Beads

Lanyard beads, w/Paracord, or w/o. Why are these things so expensive? I wouldn't mind having one, but not at half the cost of the knife! Can these be purchased somewhere reasonably?

In addition to the version you have, there was also an FRN version of the Pro-Grip. I didn't do a whole lot of digging, but in 2002 the MSRP on that was around $70 while the MSRP for the stainless version you have was around $113.

It says G2 on the blade, mine says GIN-1 does that make it another model? This one says Pro-Venator, on the Spyderco list they call it a C-13 Pro-Grip. Confusing!

Well, just because the seller wants that amount of cash doesn't mean the knife is "worth" it or somebody will actually pay that much :D
Seriously, unless some collector really desperately is looking for this particular model, I think it won't sell.

The GIN-1 steel marking narrows down that timeline and puts that particular knife somewhere in the 1995-1998 range. Prior to that, they were still GIN-1, but marked as G-2. After that, they switched to ATS-55.

The clip that's n it is basically useless without the Kraton and I doubt Spyderco would ...
