Re: Family friendly jokes

Over breakfast one morning, a woman said to her husband: “I bet you don’t know what day it is today”. “Of course I do,” he indignantly answered, getting up from the table and going out the door to the office. At 10am, the doorbell rang. When the woman opened the door, she was handed a box containing...

Re: Family friendly jokes

Two lifelong friends got together for lunch one day. “Mike, I’m in a terrible pickle,” the first man stated. “I’m strapped for cash, my rent is due tomorrow and I haven’t the slightest idea where I’m going to get it from!” “Well, that’s good to hear,” answered Mike with a smile. “I was afraid you mi...

One day I want to buy an Aqua Salt. Something always comes along that I need more, so I still haven't gotten one. One day.
If I ever come across one in our neck of the woods I’ll let you know 👍🏻
Thanks. It will be expensive.

Re: The Days of the Milkman May Be Numbered!

I miss the days when the milk man would come by the house about 4:00 in the morning and drop off bottles of milk. Later it changed to paper cartons. Sometimes, I would wait up for him and buy chocolate milk from him or something else.

Re: The Days of the Milkman May Be Numbered!

Milk in paper cartons is better. However, I buy Fernleaf powdered milk. It tastes just like bottled milk and dissolves in cold water. It is a New Zealand product. I understand that the same brand in the UK isn't nearly as good because UK laws mandate using only UK cow milk. The NZ cow milk is much ...

Maybe the company is Fonterra in the US headquartered in Chicago. +1 888 869 MILK
I'm not sure. Over here it is Fernleaf and the full cream is as good as regular Meadow Gold whole milk in the USA.

Re: The First Pig-Human Kidney Transplant

They have successfully grown human organs in pigs, and even ears. I hope this turns out to be a good thing for everyone concerned. It could save a lot of lives.

Now, if the government would get control of the insurance companies and the way charges are done, perhaps it wouldn't cost so much.

The handle has swells or something, doesn't it? It looks like it is not neutral.

Re: Budget bushcraft knife

Interesting looking knife. I was expecting to see a $16 Mora Companion after reading the title. What kind of steel? Sandvik 12C27. I do love my Mora knives but sometimes I want a full flat rather than a scandi. Handle is very comfortable and more grippy after putting the electric tape on it. Have y...

The Urban has a 2.5" blade. The UKPK has a 3" blade. The Chaparral has a 2.75" blade. It fits.

Re: Chaparral Slipit?

Doc, you know how I love and admire the Chap, especially as an even for Spyderco unique design in several aspects. And though one of these aspects actually is the supersolid (stop pin - ) backlock, it is still just ONE and since I am all for as many variants as possible of this knife to make more p...

Re: Family friendly jokes

A confused man with a map in his hand approached a local man in the city he was visiting.

“What’s the quickest way to get downtown?” he asked.

The local man scratched his head, and said: “Are you walking or driving?”

“I’m driving,” the tourist replied.

“Yup, that’s the quickest way!”

Chaparral Slipit?

I like the Chaparral, quite a lot. It is super thin and gives more blade than the Dragonfly in almost the same size package. I personally would like to see a Chaparral slip joint with SPY27.

I think it is time to move on from XHP as I like SPY27 better in my use.
