Nope!!!

Only the Viele 2nd gen and Viele 2 qualify as the best Gentleman's knife, smooth opening, very smooth closing. Sure wish the Volpe was as easy to close - maybe time to take apart and Dremel a larger opening in the handle.

Volpe ???

Both beautiful knives, gave one to my sone and he loves his. Thought The Volpe would be great but the blade release  as advertised "Chris Reeve style" is an ultimate insultate to the Chris Reeve Sebenza line. I will take apart the Volpe and enlarge/open up the current shallow offering ...

Volpe

Just got my credit from NG for my two returned Volpes. Great people and great service. Could not imagine a knife would have such mediocre wood. And CR must be p.o.'ed with the reference to his liner lock style that was attempted on this knife. Both knives were so stiff to release the blade, well ...

Small size

I have tried all the above knives except the Meerkat and the Dodo. So I''ll bring in one of each. Now I hear there may be a Vielle JR?? To me the Viele is the best small - medium Spyderco unless I am out and about in the rough.
Thanks everyone,

EDC - small

I've been using a Toad as my EDC to zip things open and small cuts. I can keep it hid in my hand opening it, using it and closing it one-handed and slide it back into my pocket. I've tried a Cricket but just seems a little too thin. Is there a Spyderco out there with less than a 2" blade that can be ...

I carry a small classic Sebbie daily and have never regretted the cost. Just a solid piece of machinery. I will send it off to be Mayonized soon.

Yes, if you did not grow up on IMUS in the 70's by today's standards he is boring. Stern is just a 90's wanna be full of himself and orally graphic shock. I'm sure there are magazines hat offer much more but only on a monthly basis for a subscription fee. Down here, Bubba the love sponge was the ...

Spyderco citing

FWIW, I've listened IMUS on the radio since 73' and now catch him some mornings. This morning, he was holding what looked like a large Dyad with its Spyder edged blade open. Not sure what he was doing with it at the time.

Never cared for Florida's East Coast. The panhandle area is very laid back though people are slowly finding this part of Florida.

Can't beat the Spyderco's fixed blades, comfortable and light. Have a CRK Project II, good for real HEAVY duty work but I use my Moran much more often.

A small Classic Sebenza is perfect for a EDC PE. Any Millie is perfect for a larger SE/PE knife, better than a large Sebenza for utility use. Chris
