Re: High Performance Delica Excitement

Hi guys,

Sorry to rain on our parade, but I was just informed that the thin Delica cannot be ground in K390, so we're going to have to settle for VG-10. Which is probably OK for a better comparison with a standard Delica. :o

Re: Bought my fourth Shaman today...

Absolutely each to there own! I'm just showing what I did. And dig it. I tried to get used to it. I bought it in Golden last year and really tried. Mostly on closing the knife it bothered me the most. Sal your right once off you can't put it back and I'm sure it's a safety item. I do not regret tak...

Re: Mule Team Connections - Curiosity

Hi GibsOn, Interesting that your son is interested in knives and even forging at his young age. You might tell him that I forged for a while. Great learning experience. He sounds like one of those kids that gets hooked on the "edge" at an early age. I was like that and we meet similar kids sometimes...

Re: My thumb keeps slipping from the hole on my new spyderco

Hi Alicia, Welcome to our forum and I'm sorry you cut your thumb. I have been there. What model is it? Is this your first Spyderco? Most of the time when a thumb slips out of the hole while opening, the thumb will move away from the edge. I have seen, and I have done replacing my thumb to the edge i...

Re: Bought my fourth Shaman today...

Hi Soc_Monk, Thanks for the support and the kind words about my design. Hi Marty_Bill, It's your knife and you can mod it any way you want. It may be better for you, but if I didn't want the "nub" there, I would not have designed it in. I would not recommend taking it off unless you are really sure ...

Re: When is the next HH UKPK run expected?

Hi Superfool, haven't seen you about for a while. Yeah - I am frontline NHS staff in the UK. Paramedic in Surrey and London, and I work as an ECP in a hospital. I have also been doing community vaccination programs for the elderly and vulnerable, so I tend to get time to peak on here once a week if...
