Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?
I'm still hoping the Sage6 will be a button lock or CBBL, as long as it doesn't require expanding the body of the knife like the Sage3. In the meantime I'll continue to lobby for a Sage2 reboot like the Sage1 got :) Hi Abbazaba, You keep on nagging. I'll keep on watching. If we did another run, we'...

Re: H1 Fixed blades
Hi Al,
I've always said that the Jumpmaster 2 would be an ideal model to have in the "bug-out-bag", along with a Golden stone.
I wouldn't mind an Ed Schempp serrated Rock Salt. Perhaps Shawn's new design of "sal's sword" would be even better in a serrated H2?

Re: Endela (-sized "middle ground" knife) in the "Pac Salt family"?!
Hi Cabfrank, It can be done with liners, as shown by the Caribbean model. I'm testing Salt model with liners right now. But it is much easier to create, and build it without liners. I designed the Endela to be part of the Endura family, so I designed it with liners. When I designed the Stetch 2 XL, ...

Re: Serrated Edge for Hunting?
Hi Kels, It will certainly be an interesting discussion, but your experience in the "Real-World-Testing" will also yield much information. I have been told by many hunters that used serrated edges in game prep, that it worked well. I have also been told that it doesn't. FYI, the design is ...

Hi RamZar,
I used a serrated Chaparral last night and it worked very well. Felt good also. I think you'll like it.

The re-drop hasn't happened yet. The factory is very busy with regular production. Please be patient.

Re: C22 Walker/Klotzli Genome Project
Hi Appler, Nice finds. Your dedication is inspiring. The project with HP Klotzli was a long and twisting trail with many changes. Eventually, after many runs, we ended up making the model in Japan. It might be nice to have a history of the Michael Walker, HP Klotzli and Spyderco collaboration. You w...

Re: VG10 HRC
Hi Ejames, You can't step into the same river twice. We were introduced to VG-10 by one of our makers in Seki. They said it was developed by Takefu for grafting of plants. We decided to try it, after testing, on the Moran fixed blade. which is still in our line. And then the Goddard folder. We were ...

Re: Sage series collection - What's the next Sage?
Still hoping for the Snecx Superlock or the Demko Shark-Lock for the Sage 6. I think it fits with the theme of the Sage series if Spyderco can attribute the lock to a particular person. Hi Riclaw, I tried to communicate with Demko a number of times over the past few years since he broke with Lynn, ...

Hi Toneyc,
As a general rule, we do not release dates until we're ready to ship. Glitches happen and then there is disappointment.
