Re: Spyderco 2025 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

Somewhere, there's a sweaty, bearded man with an unlit cigar butt clenched in his teeth. He's hunched over a workbench in a dripping musty cellar under a single 40watt light bulb on a cord, that slightly sways back and forth. Sweat beads form, then drip off his crazy gray eyebrows, but he doesn't ...

Waiting on the Starmate is like when my wife says, "I'll be ready to go in five minutes".

Did I somehow miss the Starmate? It's not on the upcoming list. Have they delivered?

Any news on the Starmate? Good grief, I feel like Micheal J Fox back in 1880 waiting for the someone to invent time travel and the Deloarian.

Check is in the mail. Kind of a nostalgic moment. Writing a check, putting it in an envelope, the whole address and stamp thing. So yesteryear! Good luck everyone.

Re: Terzuola C19 Liner Lock “adjustment”

Not sure about the C19, but early C36 Military models, first run Bob Lum tantos, and the Terzoula Starmate had "eccentric" pivots that will bring the tang closer to the lockbar if it's turned. Lots of trial and error. Lots of disassembly and reassembly. It would take the patience of a watchmaker to ...

The "Charisma" is made in Golden. Eric has been working on refining the design for 3 years anyway.

It's like a Jess Horn lightweight that's running illegal jet fuel. What about teeth? This model with fangs would be out of the ballbark.

In my belief the Caly series should be in production alone for how much its design is an iconic symbol for spyderco, regardless of the few naysayers
Preach it brother. Add serrations to that speech and a huge American flag backdrop and you'll be like General Patton talking about taking ground.

Re: Calypso Jr Sprint Run Considerations

Hopefully at least a fraction of the run will be in serrated edge, no matter the steel. Oh, that and screw construction. Put a yellow label on that box and an "S" in that model number baby! :winking-tongue

I was wondering what people's thoughts are on PE vs serrated on this particular model, what would be the reasons to go for one or the other for this model?
Rule of thumb, go with teeth.
