Certainly for me, it would have to be the World Trade Center Rescues that I gave to my children.....to help them remember. I held on to them until they were old enough to appreciate them.

The yellow Catchermans (Catchermen?) that I have both are AUS-8A. One is fully serrated and the other is partially serrated (75/25). And yes, they were tough to find. The only C50's I've seen are ATS-34....maybe they came out later?

Spyderco did make a red Delica Trainer. They actually came out with two versions, one with a solid blade and a later version with holes in the blade (for weight purposes, I think), but neither of these was sharpened. The Endura came out with red handled versions. I have seen both serrated and plain ...

Amazing Photos. I really like the lighting. Do you use a special bulb in the desk lamp, or just the usual Tungsten one? The color is fantastic

A few old ones to the "Rescue"

Thought you might like to see a few older Spydies. I threw in the Flat-Iron Folder, cause it's a half rescue.

Seems like my "lust list" changes on a weekly basis, but this week the top two on the list would be the custom double bladed Civilian whose pictures were posted a year ago or so, and the Black Quince Spyderkey to finish out the collection.

Chris,

That one came to me without the box, along with a large collection of other knives, so I can't help much more.

I hate to start by appologizing, but the weak afternoon sun and my (weak) photography skills have combined to produce the questionable photos attached. From the left, the Q's are NYCKS, Wilderness Medicine, Moteng, and Cabela's. The only marking on the box are as in the second photo. The label has b...

Deacon, Interesting thread! It made me dig out my Moteng Q and box. I picked mine up quite a few years ago at a Mall knife store in Jefferson City, Missouri. At the time I had no idea what Moteng was, but was informed by the fellow at the store that he was a distributor for them. That was all he kne...

Tiny,

2001 is Spyderco's model number. If I remember correctly, the knife was originally made in the late 1980's

Oldest that I have are the Co1 Workers. Left and Right handed Plain edge with 2 screws in the clip. The Left handed model is numbered 183. Wish I been collecting them when they first came out!

When the CF Police came out, I was collector #200. (changed recently). All four are numbered with a "V". Hope that helps.

Q assortment

Since the Coors Q finally arrived, and I was in the safe deposit box, I thought I might assemble a few of the more unusual ones for your enjoyment. :) I've read through Chris' site. Does anyone know more about the Deer and the Mountains, (The top and bottom on the left). The middle one on the left i...

You seem to have found all the yellow Spydies! Catcherman Ladybug (both PE and CE) Rescue and now the Salts Bright handles really add to the visual appeal of the collection, as well as making them easier to spot when you lay them down on the ground or the work bench. When I was looking for the yello...

Hey forum members, Sorry if you don't like my bidding style, but since this one went down while I was work I really didn't have much choice. I don't think the minute and a half that I had to pull this up and bid would have made much difference in the end. There are occasional Spyderco's that speak t...
