^If you guys ever go full on, and I ever have a disposable income beyond what I do now*, I might just have to see about getting my hands on one. I also think you should go ahead and make that ring model, that would be a real good SD knife, and I'd appreciate the ring when trying to get even, angular...

^Ya know, I hadn't even thought of that as a possible reason. And I bet it is, probably wrecks them just as fast as my Cricket does. And you'd be right, I imagine almost anything could be used as a defensive weapon. I know of one case where a guy used his belt like a flail. That's too bad they never...

^Welcome, and yes, the sinners are much more fun, cause only the good die young! ;D I had noticed they weren't chisel grinds, which I assume you did so anybody can use them. I prefer a right hand chisel form my personal use, but that's a flexible preference XD. I really find this fascinating, the Ki...

*whistle* That little one you designed with the rings looks like one **** of a little necker. Reminds me of the CRKT ringer series in design, but it looks a LOT nicer. If I might inquire on one thing: Why are so many of them left hand chisels? I'd think a right hand grind would be more common, but I...

^ Those old scales go to a place of not only of sight and sound but of mind, it is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge....

What do you guys do with all these scales that are left after you replace them all the time? The idea of giving up any sort of fiber for wood is just crazy talk to me
So THAT'S where all those aftermarket replacements come from! :D

Damascus Stretch Sprint!

Anybody else pumped for the upcoming Damascus stretch sprint run? I've been up for it since December, having long since reserved one from knife center. I was wondering if anybody else was as excited for this knife as I am? :D

^ Okay, well there goes THAT reservation. That inspires confidence in the native, well MORE confidence, really. I just worry about the stability of pinned designs is all, they aren't as good as screws, but hearing that story really does help sway my opinion.

Dodge: Not really.... the navaja has a WEIRD tip, frankly. It's curved, but it defiantly has a tip that bears some resemblance to a tanto. I'm doing my best to describe it. I guess I'd describe it as a sort of hybrid between a tanto and a traditional clip. It's definitely not a Japanese style tanto,...

I'm personally betting on either the forum knife or Endura super blue. Both of those have incredible demand behind them, but the same can be said for the others as well, I suppose. For some reason it just feels like those will come first to me, dunno why. I'm personally waiting for the June Sprints,...

I've considered it, but I worry about the FRN developing blade-play or getting too loose for my liking due to the pinned construction. I prefer the G10 because it has a hex screw for the pivot, which lets me fix it up if it loosens.

It's not REALLY a tanto, but the navaja has a sloping, angular tip that somewhat resembles a tanto. I find it good for fine cutting, you can choke up and get a real fine control of the tip.

Serrated Native 5?

Are there any plans for a serrated native 5 in S35Vn and G10? I love the G10 native, but I prefer the serrated version of the blade, are there any chances for a serrated model?

Alright, fully aware that I'm about to say some unpopular things, but I need to get this out there. 1. Dyad: While I like the design in theory, it feels very awkward in hand, and I'd rather just carry 2 knives. 2. The Tuff: Eh, it just doesn't speak to me. I like being able to open one handed and wh...

I don't think so, mostly because it seems like a REALLY bad idea to try and open an envelope with a laser ;P

That's what I thought until I got the GB M4. I changed my mind. A little Tuffglide on the blade and it's good to go. It been carried regularly (in my pocket now) for a over a year and it looks as good as the day I bought it. I wipe it off after it gets wet and like Chuck said - screaming edge. I've...
