Also, don't forget about the old numbering scheme :spyder: used to use as 100x that overlap certain Cxx models. I was unaware, and I'm learning more about Spyderco from this thread all the time. If that old numbering scheme was superseded by the current scheme, let's use the current where possible....

Yep! :) Sounds ok. But will it relate to all different generations of Delica and Endura with the sample SKU? Will special editions with a basic SKU be considered a different model now? “O” and is the Chinook 2 considered done or yet to come. I was given the impression that SKU anomalies ...

I can't tell you off-hand and who knows what the future brings :D At the moment we know from two in this thread (C55GP andC63GP). I suggest we make it easy: a separately shown column in the list, called "SKU-anomalies" ... Unless we're burdened by too many of these occurrences, I don't th...

Spydiewiki is a good first step and probably best reference we have, but not the bible! I can say this, because I am one of the authors and know the difference very well. There is still a lot of work to do at Spydiewiki. Can't say it better! We need another category, for knives we can not show, due...

Requesting input from my fellow members: I put a rule in place that custom mods were to be disregarded when posting challenges. The rationale behind that is customization makes an item unique and perhaps impossible to match, therefore impractical f or the game. However, one fellow member pointed ou...

Well, I just re-read the entire thread and I realized, there is an important aspect of Spyderco we have completely left out of the game. Spyderco makes a wonderful assortment of sharpening equipment and yet no one has posted any stones! Same with their shirts and beanines! I propose we introduce th...

It is a very enjoyable thread. No opinions or arguing, like a silent game of chess. Waiting to see who can top the last raise the fastest. For a thread that is less the 4 months old, it is a true hit! Do you play chess, xceptnl? I'm on Chess.com (also "GSO") if you're up for a game. :)

 What type of cookies?

Ugh. I only have serrated versions of both of those.

I'm very fond of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies. I wonder how popular those are in other countries.
I also enjoy madeleines, but I think those are more cakes.

What do you think it would take to get some of those other esteemed members to play? I'd bake cookies for everyone in this thread if there was a practical means for doing so.

Fellow members,

I updated the first post. There's no new changes; I just brought the details up to speed with what we're currently doing.

Keep up the posting!

I also have had this problem with the more coveted Spydercos in my collection. I offer this how-to for anyone else facing this problem: Whip out your Spyderco exclusive in question. Go find a brick. It was pretty funny when it turned out that the knife just folded and the man he stabbed just sustained minor flesh wounds and that he had just fainted when thought he was stabbed in the chest. I would also venture to say that the knife would be useless for defensive purposes after bending that way...

I think you must have some patience ;) At the Spyderco meet we saw a Prototype (not a concept model), so nearly production, of the fixed P'kal. If I remember well the knife was called the "Reverse" because you can swith over the G-10 handle scales so you can configure the knife edge-in or...
