Re: 2020 Spyderco Forum Calendar Contest!

My wife has been using this Ladybug Salt as her little gardening knife for years now. She wanted something that she didn't have to worry about leaving outside amongst watering cans and bags of soil and coming back to it covered in rust! I grabbed this shot after she finished up gardening today, a ti...

Re: Please help a British Bobby find his knife!

Hi mate and welcome! When I used to work security back in the UK I carried the old orange G10 UKPK Rescue with serrated sheepsfoot S30V blade. A fantastic UK legal knife (with the added benefit at work of being a sheepsfoot) - I thrashed it (verging on abuse involving a cable bike lock!) and that bl...

Cara Cara 2 with Shield. I love my Spydies but for a blade over 3 inches nothing fits my hand better than this Byrd.

Re: My First Byrdie

I use a drop of Tuf-Glide on my pivots. I don't have a Raven but it has my Cara Caras and Meadowlarks buttery smooth with no squeaking. As for the Byrd hole my hands are covered in calluses and I've still found a couple of Meadowlarks and my wife's Robin a bit sharp out of the box! As Sal says thoug...

Re: Byrd Colors, thank you Sal!

Thanx much for the "Thank you", but if the truth be known, it was not my idea or decision to make colored byrds. It was Eric, Susan and Kelly that came up with it and made it happen. sal Ah my mistake! Whenever I pray to the Spydiegods I always assume it's you that answers my prayers :D T...

Re: Byrd Colors, thank you Sal!

Just picked these two up - https://i.imgur.com/OkJRx7o.jpg https://i.imgur.com/iqxg7Qw.jpg I love the colors, and the lockup and finish on both is great. It's the same awesome Meadowlark 2. I did notice that on both of these the choil guard was a good 1 or 2mm longer than my black FRN version meanin...

My vote would be for a wharncliffe Meadowlark 2.

With khaki FRN just like the Kahr Arms Delica...my dream Byrd.
Decided to photoshop this one up...

Thanks for the review Apollo. I'm not a liner lock guy but the Raven sure looks nice. Something about that handle shape is speaking to me!

Re: 2019 Forum Calendar Contest!

Hopefully my Full resolution entry actually posted through. The page took a long time to load , then when it presumably sent, it was the same screen again, no confirmation that the picture had sent. Wow, somehow I completely missed the part about submitting the full size image! I just uploaded mine...

Forum Name: Uke Model Name: Chaparral Lightweight C152PGY The Chaparral Lightweight is my go-to 'gents folder'. If I need to wear a suit then that's the knife I'll be carrying. It is discrete, lightweight and incredibly thin, whilst still being eminently capable for its size. To my eye it's the smar...
