Any of those options would be great, the knife is beautiful. I think it would be awesome to see a titanium clip that follows the lines of the pingo a bit. But i have no doubt that what ever is done it will look good. Awesome job RoBoTech!

I have no experience on this so if its a stupid question please bare with me on a tenacious where the ss liners follow the G10 scales .
If I had wooden scales made could vulcanised fibre liners be used with the same size torx screws ? I'm wondering if the depth although only mm may stop them ...

I don't believe that I have seen anything saying that the mosaic pins will not be used, its possible since its still a prototype but the image in the 2013 catalog shows a line of them down the scales.

I sure am excited about the lava. I have held out on buying a ss Lava off ebay because I have been anticipating the g10 sprint. And personally I am excited about the blue!

Which knife should you buy.... thats such a hard question because everyone has a favorite (mine is the dragonfly) . But if you love knives then your first spyderco probably wont be your last spyderco. Every suggestion given is worthy, but for an overall edc knife in that range I also agree with ...

Here is one of my two mules, with green and black paracord handles and a sheath I made last night. Hopefully my other mule will soon be adorned with its carbon fiber handles.

Well I finished the work I wanted to do to it, it looks much better now. And I am going to use it to display my dragonfly collection as it grows. With this I can display them all with out taking up too much Space.

According to spydiewiki the fist ss dragonfly was made in gin-1 blade steel. That would have been in 1997 because according to the 97 catalog that is when the first ss dragonfly was made, but at that time the frn dragonfly was being made in aus-8. It is very common for amazon sellers to have the wrong info on knife models since there are many variations and they often just copy and paste the info from other descriptions. None of the frn models have liners. As for the flex, the dragonfly may be small but it is powerful and sturdily built.

The best thing to do is shop around, there is no one place that I have found that is always cheapest on every knife model. Ebay and Amazon are good places to start, but some of the smaller online knife shops such as Howe's are where you will most likely find the best service. I wish there were store ...
