Thank you for this thread. I recently got the Manix 2 and Para Military 2 and thought I got a perfect Para Military 2 and a defective Manix 2. Glad to know my M2 is perfect as well.

Congrats on your new Spydies!

Thinking of getting a Cold Steel Rajah II? Your thoughts?

So I recently bought my dream edc, the Para Military 2 and was able to handle the Rajah II. The heft appeals to me but it's something that will stay home strictly for SD or farm duties. I would like to ask you what your thoughts are regarding the knife.

Thanks guys!

I agree with MacYoung that there are only assassinations, no duels. Non-BS trainers here in the Philippines will tell you that it is one of the worst knives for emergency SD unless one has been truly trained in using it (agree with Doc there!). I've been playing with Balisongs since grade school sin...

Thanks guys! Great input from everyone. Those **** beautiful cases! I agree with Evil D, we can't child-proof everything but we can teach them what can harm them and what can't. I have a very small collection as of now but I'm planning on crafting a case for when my collection gets bigger. As of now...

Where do you keep your knives?

I'm young into collecting knives and would love to know where you keep them. In the spyderco box it came with, inside a closet or drawer, a glassed case etc. if you could post pics, that would be great. Thanks guys!

It was named Lolong after one of the people who searched for it died from a stroke. They said the hunt and capture was so hard it killed the guy. They're searching for its mate which they say is bigger than Lolong. I say let it roam.

Hi JD, like someone who posted who from Australia, Guava leaves (or Bayabas leaves in Manila) when boiled in water is great to use for washing wounds. Not sure if it can fight infection but definitely good for the wound. Malunggay leaves mixed with soup(don't know it's English counterpart) is good f...

The Resilience it can cut and slice perfectly, G10 won't allow it to slip off my hand easily, and lastly because it's the largest folder in my collection. I would love it to be a Military or a Szabo Folder (if I could afford it! Hahaha). Aside from it being a great tool, someone taught me that in a ...

Maybe you could teach me how to order them directly from the states. I'm just now familiar with the shipping and taxing and if the knife will actually get here. Hahn Manila used to have them but now all I see are Benchmades and S&W and Gerbers. Will surely get the Blue Saber if I can find one I ...

I love the G10 on my Tenacious and Resilience as well. The one on my Manix 2 just feels more grippier than the one the Resilience has. But overall I love both and I don't use it to do anything that would risk my hand sliding from the handle.

Hey Arjay! I haven't actually bought from a store as most of them are very much overpriced. I found a guy named Jason in Sulit.com.ph who was selling a manix 2 and Para 2. Unfortunately he was out of Para 2s when I contacted him but will be shipping in some this July :) I can't wait to get a Para 2....

Thanks for the input guys! I've been eyeing the sage and gayle Bradley as well but as of now I think they are more expensive than the manix 2. I'm planning of getting a good deal for a para 2 then hunt for a gayle Bradley. That knife just looks tough for everything I can of using it for.

Made in Golden, Colorado is truly GOLDEN.

First Spidey i bought was a Tenacious, and I thought it was a really solid knife. Made in China with a soso steel but I thought so what? I'm sure it won't be as different from the pricier ones. Well, it did the job. I even got the Black Tenacious and a Resilience. Got a Manix 2 yesterday from an imp...

Glad you enjoyed it guys! I love the white handled knife as well (the one with a horn handle). That blade is so pointed and sharp with good weight, that one of my nightmares is that blade going through me hahaha
