Don't think I wanna stab the seat and I don't remember saying it was failsafe either. Its just a video. Not the be all end all way of drawing a folder.

The knife is actually been drawn from my right handside front pocket in standard configuration. I just reversed the grip as I pulled it out.

I prefer G clips myself. They dont stick out as much as tek loks and you can use them without a belt.

In fact, I just replaced my Street Beat tek lok with a G clip.

Part of the beauty of it is getting scratches and all kind of 'character' marks on them. I actually think my knives are more beautiful once I've used them a bit. Use that sucker!

When I read C3 first thing I thought was Chinook 3!

Sweet knife bro. I just picked up a sheeps foot version myself. Love it. Extremely light and the smooth FRN doesn't rip up my dress pants.

I love mine. It goes in my mission wallet along with silver bullet pen. Great for opening those small packages and pesky blister packs too.

Bram actually has a patent on this particular lock design. Its called the puzzle lock. Visually it looks the same as a compression lock but from what I understand is a little different functionally.

Perhaps someone more capable can expand on the differences.

I'm one of those tip up guys only usually.

But the Military is one exception I'm willing to make just cos it does everything else so darn well. Lightweight, carries really nicely in the pocket and it cuts like a mofo!

Why not just get the newer LLC version of the Gunting?

Its cheaper and an updated design.

Unless maybe you're wanting the Gunting as strictly a collection piece.

For me the Para wins this battle every time. The Manix is too bulky in my pocket.

With the I feel like I'm getting the same cutting ability but in a slimmer package...handles also fit my hand better than the Manix.
