I highly doubt it and echo the responses of the folks above. Reputable dealers don't stay reputable long by selling factory seconds as new stock. :(

I can relate. I picked up my first Spyderco knife earlier this year, a Para 2, it's fantastic, and now I have twelve Spyderco knives. Actually I don't 'have' them all. Some are on the way. My latest acquisition is the ambitious, persistence and tenacious all in blue.
